This lady knows how to makes ones heart ache in such a way that you do not want to be saved! Now 44 I first heard her voice when I was 3. With the advent of youtube I have been re-acquainted with her beautiful voice, face, hair and spirit. She sings with her whole being which awakens my soul from its sleep. Difficult to describe it, she makes me feel like I should run away from reality and escape to a paradise somewhere, and the strangest thing is, I cannot understand a single word!!

@3890peter I feel similar too, I love NANA and have all or most of her Albums & CD's, she is great in every language, I am cuban and love all her cuban and some of the others too, in German or French she is awesome, have seen all her performances in New York, too bad she associated herself with that anti american comunist Herr Belafonte, who made his $ in the good old USA.

But Nana is one of my idols together with Mireille Mathieu.

Same here. I was trying to find out who did the vocals for "Bent - Always" and someone said she was the sound samples they used. However, I have yet to find a track of her singing "Always In My Heart". If anybody knows where to find that I would be very grateful.
