  • @chrisg5792, keesurt and akdude182 lol, all of you sound like pre-pubescent tweens so stfu and grow up you ignorant dipshits. it is called, linguistics. different people in different areas use different words for the same thing. look it up...

    now who is the ass?

and for those saying that a 357 mag auto isint practical i hereby refer you to compare its ballistics to the .357 sig. apparently, someone thought otherwise...

  • nice

  • that is nice, but, knd of unuseless.

with that recoil, you can't take a rapid fire, and for me, thats the biggest advantage of a pistol than a revolver.

shot .38 too, or just .357?

  • @andrebvs1994ctba I can shoot 38s in it with a lighter spring. The 45 Win Mag...now that barrel on this thing really kicks!! 250gr bullet at 1550f/s

  • hahaha, you all make me laugh, clip magazine, bullet, round cartridge.... its all the same, there is no reason to go all "oh i know more about guns than you, its magazine!" sounds stupid and i ppl know what they are talking about, so lay off you FPSnubz!

  • @ammosmith

I love these beasts...I prefer the rimless to the rimmed models but I don't think there's ever been a better "supercolt" made. The IMI/ATI models aren't as beefy and stout as the Grizzly and they're not lefty friendly at all, and everybody who knows anything about firearms knows the Desert Eagle is little but a toy. Granted you'd have to be a little nutty to carry one of these or use it for in-home...but they even made a 9x23mm model.

  • i can't believe this is reliable with a rimmed cartridge.

  • @heathovc It does jam from time to time. The 45 Magnum round is too much for the sights...the rear sight was replaced twice.

  • Beutiful! I hear they quit production 10 years ago!

    Congrats you SOB!

  • They need to make a .45-70 / .410 auto pistol.

  • @MrChimochay I have the .45 Winchester Magnum conversion for this.

  • @ammosmith Sweet... I was just thinking like an auto shooting pdx1 loads.

  • @MrChimochay It could be done but the design would be akin to the older "broomhandle" Mausers or worse yet a bullpup pistol , trying to fit 45/70 or .410 in the grip would require MONSTER sized hands.

Most complain about the Desert Eagle and AMT .510 pistol grip size , I'll tell you it would take a larger hand than I have to grip a .410 auto and I wear an XL glove !

NOTE : I actually LIKE the grip size of the aforementioned pistols.

  • My Coonan baby pistol also shoots .357 mag.

  • Nice weapon, my man! Say, have you tried weak-foot-forward stances of any sort for your handguns? It helps to stabilize one's body for faster follow up shots offhand, especially with higher-perceived-recoil handguns like a .357 mag and up.

Then again, some people are more efficient in other ways. I just noticed your hips move out to catch your center of gravity. A lot of bench time? Try not to use that rest too much. You don't want to be uncomfortable in any way if/when your life is at risk. :]

  • its not a CLIP!

  • can u thread a supressor on it

  • @reaper042196 No. Even if you could the 357 is a supersonic round.

  • @ammosmith It'd be worth doing just so it's not so damn loud lol.

  • @ammosmith Yes you could attach a suppressor to it provided you thread the barrel for one. Though not silent, a good suppressor can substantially reduce the discharge sound of supersonic ammunition.

  • @ammosmith wrong, if you threaded the barrel, you could use a suppressor on it no problem. The sound would be suppressed, but the sonic boom would still happen. It would be quieter to the point that it would be harder to tell the origin of the bullet.

  • Holy hell, 1911 went all desert eagle. That's awesome.

  • That's about what a kel tec p11 in 9mm is like to shoot....

  • i know what i want for Christmas

  • yeah it looks like a really well made pistol... im loving this 357 magnum.. i was looking into the glock 31. 357 sig. but im hoping i run into this pistol in the future.. how many shoots is it..?? would you be able to shoot 38's

  • how much was it wen it was inproduction ....

  • @RiqueRossDaBoss I paid around $1200 for it and that included 2 calibers 45 Winchester Magnum and 357 Magnum. It's a very well made weapon.

  • Can you put 38's through it?

  • @Armand1694 Yes and no. You can but I have to use a 1911 9mm mainspring to do it.

  • kill those pesky N*****S

  • two words I WANT

  • How the hell can they find parts for that thing?

  • every time you call a magazine a clip, a box with 13 puppies inside it is set on fire and thrown of a building

  • @keesurt Sorry...sometimes I get caught up in the moment...shooting that thing is fun and distracting.

  • @ammosmith Hehehe, funny that; the guy actually shooting the gun and loading the box is the one being criticized.

  • @keesurt same thing happens when a person calls a cartige a bullet

  • @akdude182 Oh stop acting like one of those gun douches, a bullet and a cartridge are the same damn thing, one is just a more proper name than the other. Stop acting like you know soo much more about guns than someone else because you use the proper name. You don't sound cool, you look like a ass.

  • @chrisg5792 a bullet and a cartrige are not the same thing.a bullet is a projectile and a cartrige is a paper or copper alloy case with powder and bullet and usualy a primer.and im not trying to sound cool just correct.and by the way you are the one who looks like an ass.

  • @keesurt Really though? Who gives a fuck about the correct termy, people get what he means. Fucking terminology nazis.

  • superb gun...

Although I still wish it had a double stack magazine for my huge hands

  • @a55kika18 I have long fingers and I think a double stack would be nice to give it some girth.

  • I really hope you know, this has been done already....rofl think coonan

  • @c0d3cr4zy I know..the Coonan is back in production again.

  • @ammosmith Is it really??? wow I'm picking one up

  • 100 years old & it only gets better :-) I love your Grizzly 1911

  • 2:39

    Welcome.

  • WTF 2 shots is not impressive AND your a fanny for using a rest ... fill that mag up and fire it like it should be fired you ponce ... ffs some people have no idea

  • @antipike Hey, his form may not be perfection, but he's likely a dead eye with a rifle, and could load up some sweet rounds for you, or turn your firearm into anything you think of. If you want to inform someone about something they don't use, slamming them won't help them to learn if they don't already know. Besides, he was showing recoil and flash, not how cool it looks to blow $15 dollars of ammo in a fart's lifespan. I personally thought that using the horizon for a marker was a cool touch.

  • @Wiseman501 I posted this after I had already spoken my adjacent comment, or it would have been more succinct posting.

  • @Wiseman501

It's pretty sad how many kids come on Youtube and start pretending they're the master of all things aint it?

  • @IcabodCrane It certainly is, but hey, that's part of how they learn. We're all a release zone for oppinion and banter, where they can express themselves, however polite or otherwise so there's an opportunity to discuss it.

  • awww...cool gun but i was disappointed...thought this was about the colt grizzly

  • The Desert eagle is a better pistol for that type. I own the 357,41,44 and 50ae. they are controlable and accurate. The Grizzly's are great guns, but finding parts can be hard when they break. And they DO break. :(

    Great vid by the way.

  • we sold our lar grizz mag in .45 winny magnum. it was in the first 200 made and it was just too big. we sold it unfired and got a pretty penny with it.

  • Comment removed

  • I have two with four calibers 45 win mag, 45acp, 357 mag, and 10mm. I still prefer the 45 mag, I have never had it jam in 25yrs, last week at the range I used 260gr hollowpoints and 220gr hollowpoints, no jams, the 45acp jams like crazy, I believe that is due to too stiff a spring. They are amazing, standing at 50yds I hold a consistent 4"group so i'm happy with that. In it's day it was considered the best wild boar gun for an auto. Great film thanks!

  • was is the barrel that long, can you put on it a compensator.

  • lol at 2:38, pa tink pa tink, BOOM

  • this is like a desert eagle that doesn't jam like crazy and isn't nearly as large

  • @inkbot2000 It will still jam but it's half the weight of a Desert Eagle. The Desert Eagle has a gas system whereas the Grizzly is recoil operated. When shooting the 45 Win Mag I wish it was heavier.

  • @ammosmith the grizzly will still jam, but the desert eagle will be lucky if it goes through a magazine without any problems

  • I would love to get my hands on AT least one of these.

    =D. . . .

  • i hope no one ever aims one of those at me

  • jesus what a beast

  • Hey, that's pretty cool! A 1911 that shoots a revolver cartridge. That .45 Winchester Magnum, though--that sounds like a bear-hunting round.

  • It sure is.

  • Nice, thanks.

  • Very nice! Thanks for sharing. :)

  • looks like a wrist breakker .... great vid

  • The 357 kicks like a 45 ACP+P but the 45 Magnum is a hand full.

  • Can't say I am a fan of the barrel protruding past the barrel bushing but other than that it looks like a really cool... and Really powerful pistol.

  • Good for a threaded barrel?

  • @elvemage00 I am guessing so I just like a flush barrel its just my taste. would love to get my hands on one of those though and try it out. a 357 magnum is a nice no bullshit man stopping round... So is the 45 acp don't get me wrong I just love options and this is really cool.

  • Threaded no. If you guys think the 357 is a man stopper...you need to see the 45 magnum barrel that goes to this one too. 255gr bullet at near 1500 f/s...ouch! It snapped the elevation screw in the sight.

  • @ammosmith any way it could be tammed with an EXTRA SUPER CRAZY POWERFUL recoil spring ???

  • Maybe but you still have a 255gr bullet leaving at a high rate of speed. I am experimenting with springs now for the 357.

  • Did you just say "clip"? Really?

  • Probably.

  • Great video, though!

  • Thanks. I personally don't get all caught up in terminology. As long as you know what I am talking about...spring loaded ammo hopper would work too.

  • It' just a pet peeve of mine.

By the way, I LOVE your reloading vids. I'm trying to get into reloading and I learned a shitton watching those vids.

  • NICE!!!

I've always wanted to get a .41 Mag Desert Eagle, or turn a .44 into one but those things are a little pricey...

  • Very nice!!!! I might have to find me one.

Let's see how difficult that is in europe.....

  • wow i have never scene a 357 magnum in a 1911 config i think i mite buy one!

  • i could possibly see getting a revolver (i actually want a 610 really badly) that fires auto's, but an auto that shoots revolver rounds? why? the only reason i can see is if your main collection is revolvers and you want an auto just to have one, and rather than having seperate ammo it might make sense?

  • I have a 610 and it's very nice. I think the concept was to provide magnum power in a auto.

  • JUST SAW ONE OF THESE FOR SALE in 44 mag

  • The pistol I have has the best out of the box trigger I have ever felt.

  • yeah i know i saw one years back chambered in 357/44 bains davis thats a 44 necked down to 357 what a piece that was.

  • I beleive that, they are of high quality materials and workmanship. Nice video with a really nice pistol. Speaking of autos that shoot revolver cartridges, have you ever had any experience with the Smith and Wesson model 52?

  • I have shot them a few times and the Colt Ace...both in 38 Special. Nice guns but limited to wad cutters only

  • A rimmed cartridge in an auto is just not a good idea IMO.

  • It works very reliably. I like this pistol better than the Desert Eagle. Same caliber's and yet a much lighter weapon system.

  • Cool

  • That looks like a beast, hands down the best looking .357 mag, wicked real wicked. Seems like a gun safe keeper! Nice man...

  • Nice Ammo! High speed is a great addition. Nice return to position @ 3:28!

  • LOVE the high speed stuff. you should definitely do more with it!

  • We will do a lot more more with the high speed camera.

  • Nice high speed footage.

  • nice man

  • I was in the market for the 45 win mag. what do you suggest to do about the rear sight? Another thing...since they are out of production, what about parts and repairs if something goes wrong?

  • An extra magazine is $125! If it breaks that's it.

  • @ammosmith whoe dats a hight priced mag

  • Oh yes it is. I have one that's defective and it's up to me to fix.

  • Haven't seen one of those in awhile. There is a pawn shop near me that has one for sale, but I think its in a higher caliber. They were asking a $900 for it, but it still has not sold. Great video!

  • i want one of those.

  • ★★★★★

  • What a beast! Excellent video.

  • Great video, in my opinion a much better gun than the desert eagle. Awesome high speed camera footage. Where did you get it?

  • That looks like a great gun for bear protection. Good vid.

    PS: It's a magazine, not a clip.

  • that is pretty awsome man!! 5 stars sweet vid...
