Seems like the iPhone will get to the website first but then starts to lag when loading, versus how the Blackberry may make it to the website later but loads the page even quicker. Looks like the Blackberry's display is much nicer anyways.

It's not only about the browser but also about the device itself which is very helpful for me since I was thinking about going for the Bold but worried about the browsing speed. One slight note, Opera mini is not an app but safari is. To put both on the same testing ground, you need to get Opera mobile and re do this test.

This review sucks. You can't compare two different phones with two different browsers. The Iphone is faster and has more RAM than the Blackberry shown in this video, and I'm not even going to mention the phone OS. In conclusion this review sucked, and finally - Opera beats Safari on Mobile phones, proven with a friend of mine's Ipod Touch. Plus Opera beats Safari on Desktop computers too.

Yeah, the iPhone is very very common these days just with everyday people, where as Blackberry is more exclusive. Not everyone has one. With that being said, I think both are fantastic mobiles.

test that out and all the options to your likeing and see if you like it then. i myself hate basic browsers. on my instinct s30. it takes like 2 min, to load anything and the opera mini beta 2 loads everything in sec.

You have to charge iphones every night, you have to charge a blackberry twice a week, maybe 3 times if you listen to music and watch movies all day. The iphone has a better screen and more apps, but the blackberry has a full qwerty keyboard instead of a stupid touch screen. Blackberry is a better overall phone, iphone is a better overall toy. But i have a blackberry and a laptop so it's all good.

So I picked Opera which was the best on the Blackberry side and Safari which was the best at the time of this video on the iPhone (Opera had not come out for the iPhone to my knowledge when this video was made)

The next thing is they are on differant devices, this is because Safari is made by apple, therefore not on

Instead of testing the Opera Mini 5 B2 on the Bold 9700 test it with the Browser that's allready installed in the BlackBerry by default. You will be surprised. On the iPhone u tested the default browser witch is Safari, do the same with the BlackBerry, Don't test internal browser with beta browsers.

the 8900 is limited to 2G EDGE, so when it comes to data streaming, you're out of luck. I believe it might have WIFI though, which should help you out a bit. The 9700 uses 3G, and is capable of 3.5G- that's 7.2mbps, so besides BBerry's janky browser, data streaming shouldn't be an issue..

depends on what your looking for. As far as social networking, the Cliq is awesome because of Moto Blur. And on top of that its running on android so thats 2 things going for it. On the blackberry side you get reliable email, BBM, and what i think is its biggest advantage over most phones: its battery life.

Overall, there both solid phones, just depends on what you need in your device.
