  • this is over the top you would look like a tool driving that

  • @CaseIH232 Why are you watching this? Go away.

  • How does it sound when you have the exhaust break on ?

  • "Dodge Cummins" is actually Norwegian for ULTIMATE ASS KICKER!!!

  • Lol you fools are funny a aftermarket manifold be it a intake or exhaust is not going to make a difference in exhaust sound, my 02 24valve with ATS compounds, ATS Ark flow intake manifold and ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold sounds just like a stock truck (minus the extra whistle from the compounds)

  • sounds aight

  • dose this not mess up the scencers?

  • dose havein a strait pipe mess with the scencers? i wanna strait pipe but i dont wanna mess with the electronics

  • put a third gen manifold and turbo on it...she'll sound much better

  • @bighunterman77 Second gen... third generation will still sound like shit.

  • im glad we dont have diesel emission testing here in alaska...

  • lmao, my 96 1500, gas, sounds better then that.lol

  • @MrMicas101 ya right sound like a jailuos person!!

  • That is one bad ass truck!!! And yea who cares about the warranty, the way these trucks are made now in days it'll be fine! They are built to last.

  • @hububub46 honestly its not a waste and im sure he rather be a redneck than a fucking city homo who wants a clean enviorment go back to your own business and dont fuckin comment if you aint gotta anything good to say. matter of fact this truck is badass and warranty who needs a damn warranty just get insurance.

  • Insuring that the hearing aid industry has future customers. Don't get me wrong I like straight pipes, but straight out the back, so all I hear when cruising is a muted tone

  • Comment removed

  • flex tubing???? really?? thats a really expensive truck for a scrub exhaust job like that!! maybe on a slopped together first or second gen. but on an 08 6.7???

  • @MaGoo285 when ya put stacks on trucks your supposed to have a short section of flex pipe in between the 90 going up to the stacks so that you isolate the engine and exhaust movement from the actual stacks and plumbing in the bed of the truck

  • yea, and while you are at it kiss your warranty good bye..nice job....What do you put in the pick up bed?? obvsioulsy nothing...this truck probably cost more than the trailer you live in...typical red neck...waste of video!

  • @hububub46 if you got a problem with his truck go watch a different video jackass

  • @hububub46 Um, in case you can't tell, the stacks don't really take up all that much room in the bed. Using stacks is better than normal exhaust, you save weight, not that much, obviously, but still... They look cool, don't they... Oh, wait, you are an ecomentalist, so to you, no it doesn't look cool.

  • Or buy a smartyor H&S then it will shut down the emissions system.

  • thats the way it ought to sound awesome

  • u should put diamond plate in the shape of a tool box around ur stacks ive seen it done before and it looked bad ass

  • what is a dpf

  • @gchs1987

    diesel particulate filter

  • @gchs1987 DPF stands for diesel particulate filter, and it basically filters out all soot and unburnt fuel frim the exhaust gasses. there is an onslaught of sensors to make it all work, but that's all the dpf does. It works basically like a cat conv.

  • What tuner are you using for this delete? My dad's 09 has 4" straight tailpipe, no DPF, no catalytic convertor, EGR disabled, and runs it with a Smarty S67ME and there is no codes at all and plenty of power and good mileage.

  • does this pass inspection

  • does this pass inspection

  • why are they making the diesel crackle quiter and quitter

  • i have 08 6.7 cummins with dpf delete 6 in stacks and a smarty s67 and south bend double disc....watching your vid got me to do the delete awesome sound and exhuast braking sounds even better

  • DRIVE IT

  • she purrs like a kitten

  • How's the droan on the highway?

  • DPF stands for diesel particulate filter. Basically traps all of the soot, smoke, and unburned fuel molecules to be burned during a Regeneration period, typically while cruising down the freeway. This makes the air coming out the tailpipe on a diesel truck nearly cleaner than the air going in the intake. Downside is high exhause backpressure and therefore lost power.

  • plus those things gotta get plugged up at some point in time!

  • well during a regeneration the soot in the filter turns to ash and settles to the bottom. It does eventually fill up but i think the service life is supposed to excede the life expectacy of the truck. The problem they were having at first is that the controller was not commanding a regeneration of the filter and therefore became plugged. It was more of a problem with the software of the engine controller than the actual part.

  • yeah, but from what understand automakers are using urea. some of the new d-maxes come with it along with the blue tech cummins. Youd think that urea would be less restrictive than a particulate filter? idk how clean on these smaller diesels it would make it but the new line of massys that have urea produce very very little emissions with alot of power for a red tractor haha

  • @zr2chevypickupman urea is garbage, makes big rigs GUTLESS

  • @therealcarguy at least you know what youre talking about.

  • yeah the new 6.7's are really quiet..you just hear- tick tick tick. Truck looks good

  • what the hell does a dpf do

  • yeaa new powerstrokes are gayyyy toooo quiet its like an electic truck haha

  • that sounds sweet!!!! fuck those powerjokes i mean powerstrokes!!!!!!....lmao

  • so its better to have the DPF not on?

  • thats nice but i like the sound of the 1999 2000 cummins the newer ones are WAYY WAYY to quiet

  • listen to a new powerstroke the 6.4 and the 6.7 you cant hear the 6.7 at all

  • OMG i no its crazy it dosent even seem like a diesel

  • how much does it cost to put them on

  • it's diesel particle filter

  • im thinking about deleting my crappy dpf, have you had any problems??

  • I hate to ask... I am not too familiar with diesel engines.

What exactly is a DPF? Is it a resonator diesel talk? lol or is a resonator a resonator on a diesel as well?

PS your truck sounds good bro!

  • It's like the C Converter, on diesels it's known as a soot trap!

  • Ohhhhhhhhh. Cool, thanks for the response brotha!

PS YZF your trucks soundin pretty mean.

  • It's a device that cuts your fuel economy by 25% and makes fake environmentalists happy.

  • exactly! well said!

  • LMFAO!!!!!!

not only is that hilarious its very very true.

  • @SakoTGrimes How much MPG do you get in this monster and how much did you get before you deleted the DPF?

  • @Maximum777Payne not my truck. Mine doesn't have a DPF, never did. I get 23 mpg in my Diesel Suburban,If it ever did have a dpf I'm sure it would only get 17mpg

  • how that 08 6.7 runnin? i got an 04 5.9 that i love.

  • So what does it take to do this to a 6.7? Some kind of kit?

  • it says in the description "no dpf no muffler just straight 5'' stacks" so nothing major :-)

  • You do need something that will clear the codes it will throw when you delete the DPF.

There's a dongle thing that makes the ECM believe the DPF and catalyst are still there.

    Look at H&S performance :)

  • I am interested in buying a Cummins. Could you please explain to me what a DPF Delete is?

  • definatly the best advice i've ever heard.. lol.... seriously... i get tired of ppl talking noob on youtube... (ur name fits ur personality)

  • Thanks man. I try to tell people but they just don't comprehend the plain of awesomeness I'm on. People get real, I'm awesome alright, shit!

  • its a particulate filter on the exhuast. restricts air flow then you take that shit off.

  • Don't listen to CaptainObviousHere or azkcr they're just bein dicks. Stealhcorvettes right. Its a particulate filter and it removes diesel particulate matter(soot) from exhaust gas of a diesel engine

  • kiddah the dpf is the new emission stuff

  • fix your egr! :)

  • soundin good

  • I bet ya the Jake sounds bitchen in there, especiall at midnight in a neighborhood! lol! you don't seem to have the truck going into regen mode.. unfortunately your warranty is voided?

  • Did you take the cat off also?

  • Unplug your EGR sensor on the intake horn and you will stop seeing all of the smoke and your MPG will go up as well

  • Doesnt that throw a code?

  • It's just a soft code. The truck will not go into limp mode, and you will get better mpg. If you have a programmer like the BD PMT or Edge then you can clear the code on startup, and you won't have the CEL on. I'd go to K2performance though, and just delete the entire egr system.

  • @yzf411 Yes it does throw one

  • @yzf411 Once the odometer clicks over your warranty limit, get in under that hood and rip all the environmental bullshit you can find out. Who gives a fuck anyway, who's going to pull you over? A DOT? Hah, just puke out some smoke to blind the bastard and take off down the highway, dumb son of a bitch will never catch you.

  • You'll go into limp mode aka 1451 if you don't clear the codes, dummy.

  • is it loud in the cab

  • Its loud thats what i wanted

  • What have you noticed in regards to mpg and torque? How about noise?

  • Well the mpg was good but now my truck is tryng to go into regen and the company i bought my dpf delete from (H&S) is giving me a hard time fixing it. Its very loud when your on it but thats what i wanted!

  • Could you define "good" mpg? I can squeeze 24 out of mine when I'm easy on it. I'm not too concerned about the noise. IS the torque and response still good?

  • If you are getting 24 out of a 6.7 cummins dont touch it....mine didnt get that kind of milage from the factory and i would find it hard to believe any 6.7 can get that kind of milage with all the emmissions stuff still on

  • Well, I gotta admit, the MPG has taken a dive with increased milage and colder temperatures. Maybe the emmission stuff doesn't work right away? The 24 mpg was the first couple tanks. I thought it would stay that way. I was wrong. Currently in the mid teen range 15 or 16 mpg average all hyway. Are you having any further problems with the dpf removal kit? Does it still try to do its re-gen thing?

  • sound real good theres a dude on youtube with dual 7's sounds awesome too bad the engine is quiet as it is....

  • amen. reason i like to stick with the 5.9. i love the sound of an old rattling diesel ;)

  • 6.7 sounds better tho done right

  • ahhh its all opinion. the exhaust on the 12 valves and 24 valves was a lot smoother, it didnt have the raspy noise when u romp on it like the common rail 5.9's do or the 6.7's. the pre-common rail cummins' had a smooth deep tone all the way through the RPM band.

also u can barely even hear the engine (at anything except idle) while inside the cab with the 6.7

dont get me wrong i love the sound of the 6.7's, but i just prefer the sound of the 12 valves or even the 24 valves a little more

  • fuckin a right

  • @filthydirtyhooker I'm gonna throw the bs flag on that one. I work for dodge, and i haven't seen ONE 6.7 even get over 18! 20 would be impressive, but 24, yeah right.

  • come on rev that thing i wanna c some smoke =P

  • badass man

  • Did you do your EGR as well?

  • Wasnt aware someone had "right" way to delete the egr?

  • Wow. You're smart budddy. MY QUESTION WAS DID YOU DELETE THE EGR??? "as well" means also. Dipshit.

  • yeah i said that i wasnt aware there was an egr delete available Dumb fuck Lets think before we type smart ass remarks from now on.......

  • @yzf411 You may or may not have the "right" to remove the egr. Here in KS we have no vehicle inspections whatsoever as in NONE, so you can remove all emissions equipment, and no1 would know, unless U move to a State that requires annual inspections. Those who live in States with inspections really can't do much that I'm aware of, unless they swap things in & out each year.

  • cat and muffler delete also?

  • Yes, all straight turbo back..

  • WTF rev it up!
