I was wondering if i could use dirt bike gloves for my riding i ride on the street and in the woods. I ride more in the woods so i thought about dirt bike golves because they're heavier.
ive been mountain biking for over 10 years now and i see agree with this guy, full finger gloves are the way to go. Once i tried a pair of half finger gloves on a 35 kilometer route, it wasnt a cold day but the wind that caught on my bare fingers caused severe numbness and pain. So i think full finger are a much better option.
I have worn both styles and I prefer full-finger gloves. I like the added protection the full finger gloves give and I don't notice any difference when pulling brake levers or changing gears.
