  • genius work! *****

  • Thank you.

Searched for this music as best I could, looking through Wagner's Ring Cycle, especially parts with Loge. Also wondered if the second part was Tchaikovsky, but then it goes back to the opening phrase again.

Enough of my ignorance, though, except to urge readers to not make the same mistake. Go seek it out, and don't feel bad about skipping through the singing; it is an acquired taste I have never acquired, but I still love the instrumental parts.

  • RIP mr. F. in my opinion, rhe 20th centurys greatest fantasy painter.

  • hi John, yet another one of your videos into my playlists...

  • holly!

    I love his painting

  • Brilliiant!...Cheers!

  • @CaptScruffywhiskers

Thank you. He was a joy to collect!

  • 08:53 Battlestar Gallactica , the girl officer is not wearing pants , kaki flesh ! This was sold to children in 78. He got away with it ! I discovered this myself abut 2 years ago ! The best of Battlestar G. Anything. 420

  • Cool information! Thanks.

  • IMO Frazetta is one of the few modern fantasy artists that approach the level of the greats of the Rennesaince (spelling).

He understood human form & dramatic composition. In contrast, look at Valejo's art, probably a better 'painter' & colorist but completely lacks Frazetta's talent for dramatic composition & pure power...Valejo's images R mostly static in comparison. I think Valejo is a great artist as well, not knocking him BTW.

  • Excellent comment! Frazetta is definitely special, and a spectacular artist.

  • You Too!!!!! thanks for the best Frazetta on you tube!

  • im speechless!!

  • I had to re-upload my Frazetta video because it transitioned to quickly in certain places. Thanks for the comments.

  • I should have known you did a Frazetta video! I just did my own and noticed yours in the "related video" section. Good video, BTW.

  • 0.23 Frank Frazetta Illistrated. That is not Frazetta. I can look at it and tell, it is another painter. Frazetta would never sign his name in a box. This is a wonderful mag that pays Frazetta to use his name. The best painters in the fantasy buisiness are featured in the mag. This guy is honoring Frazetta. Look at it hard. Frazetta would never paint his name big like that to himself. He is too humble. The style is wrong. Not Frazetta. You are forgiven ,this time!!! Great sight ! thanks!!!

  • 3 maybe 4 oil paintings that I have never seen before. Vantastic ! I just sent a DVD painting with fire to Hillery Clinton. I am trying to get Frank an award for New York States citizen award and a US Congressional medal in art. Frazetta is the Grand Master of Fantasy art. His best Vampy oil was done in 1998 left handed after the bad stroke. Greatest painter that ever breathe air.

  • Excellent choice of music, quite scary!

I love Frazetta, he was most famous for his Tarzan illustrations I remember? But there are many here I haven't seen, wonderful, thank you!

  • I should have known you would recognize his Tarzan paintings. Can one really admire Ray Bradbury withouyt also being an an Edgar Rice Burroughs fan?

  • Heehee, yeah I love ERB, I have two great Tarzan books now :)

But The Princess of Mars books are a bitch to find, if you'll excuse my language, and those are the ones I really want. I've read everything there is to read online ABOUT Barsoom, I just can't find the books. :( I'll have to buy them online sometime.

  • It was tough even finding the Tarzan books, I had to order them. The girl in my local book store actually took me to the kids section to show me a Tarzan kiddies picture book when I asked too!! She didn't know it was a REAL book first! (o.k, it was a serial first, but you know what I mean).

  • Great job! Lots of imagination there :)

  • Yes, he's an impressive artist (or illustrator, if one is a purist). I like his work!

  • Thank You very much for the sharing!

    Video and music very beautiful!

    Lucius

  • Yes, one of the reason I wanted to do Frazetta's quirky paintings was to give me an excuse to use "Night on Bald Mountain" as a musical backdrop. Heh, heh.
