I have a 99 Accord V6 Sedan with only cold air intake mod.
I got that beast to go 140mph...after 110...it shifted to last gear and it was at 4 1/2 rpms then it just goes down to 3600rpms...and im like??
maybe some type of overdrive?
But the person who i bought the car from said that a young guy around 23,really good with cars said that he installed a 6spd tranny in it. From the new accords or the acura tsx,but i cant remember.
yep only intake at the time, plus i up shifted the gears my self, 2nd to 3rd to 4th. ur car either needs a tune up or ur loosing alot of back pressure due to your exhaust which means less torque.
lol, let me just say "I TOO HAD" my accord, sadly i sliped on an icey highway and wrecked my car beyond recodnizable. tho i am working on getting another 02 coupe...i love the looks of the 6th gen coupes looks.

gears shift at 5750rpms in my car

nice... if i tried this with my 86 accord id probably blow the engine lol. fastest iv ever gone in it was about 90 on the highway.

u were able to hit about 125 with not enough problems and u only got short ram intake?
i got a long intake, cat,- muffler and having difficultis hitting 125? why,
before all that i was able too..
