"N00b" was used to refer to people who didn't learn anything and refused to change their ways. Of course, words often change meaning over time, so it's not that surprising it means both nowadays. I guess I'll have to start referring to the clueless unimprovers as "stupid noobs" or something along those lines. :)

Not to sound like the average "COD 11 year old weapon expert", but certain firearms make that sound unsuppressed due to the balance in metal, recoil and such. Kinda like the M1 Garand's characteristical "ping" when you fire your last shot.
