I assured him that it would be peaceful, and I was right.  I think he had a real education and you were the highlight of the day. My understanding of the bill is that it is not intended to fix the free market system of health care, but to replace it with a government controlled one.  The provisions of the bill are calculated to destroy the private insurance industry through absurd mandates & regulations, replacing our private health care system with the so called, Public (i.e., State controlled) Option. Once the state has control over your health care; they have de facto control over your very life and death.
