hello, no problems with wireless as im getting one for backtrack, could you tell me what driver yours has? Atheros or Broadcom WIFI?

Hello, did you use any specific parameters to boot 10.10? My S10-3 is hanging at different lines every time while trying to boot LiveCD from USB that was created with Unetbootin. It boots my other laptop with no problem but no luck with the S10-3.

Problem solved! For anyone having trouble with booting 10.10 to the Lenovo S10-3, add the parameter
"intel_idle.max_cstate=0"
sans quotes, to the kernel line on the grub menu, and Ubuntu will boot.
