This was fantastic! The horse was relaxed, the reins weren't taught, the rider praised him all the time and boy that horse can move. Beautiful extended trot and canter, spectacular piaffe, all very light and confident. I think this horse surpasses even Totilas >.>

On peut dire ce que l'on veut, mais les ibériques ont un charme et de personnalités irrésistibles... Il est fabuleux ce cheval! Très joli couple, moi je trouve que tous les deux se sont éclatés. On ne voit pas souvent des gens travailler sérieusement et se faire plaisir comme ça en compèt' je trouve! FabuloOOOoous! Viva Espana!

He ALWAYS pets him during his programs :3 the reins are so loose and nice, the piaffe is so nicely on the spot, and it's nice to see a pirouette that's actually three beats and not four :) Riding with one hand increases the difficulty and therefore the score, and is a bonus. I have the dvd of the fei world cup 2007 finals, and if I remember correctly the majority of the finalists did it in their program. Shows confidence and lightness of contact. There's so much about them i admire. Favorites :)

Personally I don't think that the judges would have liked the way, Juan Manuel Munoz stopped giving commands to the horse and Fuego still knew what to do. This could have been seen as show boating (to win the crowd) or being a bit arrogant although I don't think that it was. Also the feel of being more emotional and Juan Manuel really enjoying himself probably didn't go down well either. Regardless of this it was a beautiful routine!
