I love both versions. But the DC would have brought more people to the Cinema. Anyway those that say it's not good or flopped, it didn't, as it made well over $170 million!

Affleck did a good job, wish they'd have made another.

@dorkandproudofit not gore.. more action an alternative ending and longer cut. The plot is easier to follow with the love scenes removed than the Theatrical version

Honestly such a great movie. Vastly underrated. Affleck was perfect for the role and the film was dark gritty and gripping and i believed it to be marvels best until iron man but now i believe it to be 2nd best. this film truly deserved a sequel. its a shame we are getting a reboot without affleck or following the story established here.

@No1vertigofan yup confirmed on ign they are rebooting sadly :( i really wish affleck would have signed for a sequel and done it like when he was talking about it in 04 and 05 but in 06 decided no more. 07 no news 08 Jason Statham was interested to play. That would be solid a reboot with him i can live with other than that i dont think so.

Yeah, and the plot will be based off of Born Again. >_< The original plot for the sequel. Speaching of which, why couldn't there be a sequel? Duncan was up for it, and I think Ben was too......I wanted to see Duncan and Afleck go at it again.

i had my copy of the directors cut since 2007, its better in way then the original, some scenes where deleted and so they can add the alternate scenes, and the big difference is the subplot involving snoop dog

Usually extended cuts are gimics or just add little to the movie...Daredevil's DC totally redefines the film and emphasizes how bad the theatrical cut was.

I'd say it is better than both Hulks, worse than Batman Begins but probably on par with Iron Man.

Not rated R here. The Better version which the Director mentions quite a few times in his commmentary and I agree. Get it now!
