I tried this game for a few months, Nice graphics but I went back to Asherons Call, lot nicer gameplay.

This is a very old video, animations changed a lot and voices too: that red spell is casting now (about 2 seconds), this chick is not "jumping" on her disc anymore, also there is some glowing animation under that disc. I played magus on the open beta, got it to lvl 18

Yes, alot chamged. I play as a Magus now,the glow´s there, and that red spell is about two seconds long.

i think he said get off but was metaphoricly reffering to if they unbind themself to the disk they will loos control of the daemonic energy and blow up

why is the disk so very vital to them? why wouldn't they just be more concentrated at their objectives while the disk then just disappears or runs away or whatever... I mean even if it were to try and attack the magus, I mean, it's a damn disk. what would it do?

Why is the disk the Magus' lifeline?

because tzeetch the raven god of chaos allows them to channel the chaotic forces in their body thru the disk its very unstable so if they were to get off the disk boom they would blow up just like that period

there ya go you got it its constantly moving thru them it goes in the back out like a flow so if they leave the disk the current would break and their bodies would not survive much longer cause of the daemonic energy overload

According to some guy on the Mythic staff, "If you got off the disc you would explode into a gibbering goo of chaos energies." So no, you cannot get off the disc lol.

the magus has to leave the current of the disk not just get off he has to leave the disk all togheter

they think the games fine but there giving it to the guilds now to make sure if all gose aswell as they hope it will be out without anymore delays

there have been major improvements to the game since this old clip came out.. smooth gameplay and such, its quite awesome

yes it is but the game is coming out on sept 16th, i say this cause they said my pre order will be in then, but the game should HAVE been polished already, just cause it is cb doesn't mean they are polishing the game like every month or 2 this is something they should have done while the game was being made, but either way this game kicks ass the graphics are already better than wow

I love the disk. I think that traveling on the disk somehow feels less tedious than running.

Keep in mind this is an old video, and as the title indicates it was simply meant to demonstrate the disc mechanic. Hardly represents a final product. You may want to watch newer content or videos about the game mechanics. If this video was enough for you to judge the entire game by, I hope you keep playing WoW even after WAR launches.
