any music that pours from his brain, to be transferred to his guitar instantly becomes fucking awesome in a reallly heavy way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! long live IOMMI
Glenn Hughes is a total badass, the material with Deep Purple is some of my favorite, even thought the purists hate it. Guy can sing and play bass like a Motherfucker!!! What a team, Iommi/Hughes, 2 legends!
All you Glen Hughes bashers are nothing but "KNUCKLEHEADS"!!! His body of work from the 70's thru todays BCC, can't be matched by any one singer!!!! He is the most "DYNAMIC VOICE" ever, that's right, I said EVER!!!! In Rock and Roll. Near 60 years old and still commands sold out houses where ever he performs. He's a work "ANIMAL" that never stops. We've been blessed from above to have his voice around as long as it's been here.
I love the music and the flow of it so much but the lyrics on this album are so trite it's irritating. When your rhyming schemes are escalate and educate, ugh.. and the way he says "way" and "day" are just terrible. "And it is just because I have no say" ?? it makes no sense and is just a rhyme for the sake of a rhyme. Something made to sound poetic that really is just lazy gibberish. I like Glenn Hughes, especially in Deep Purple, but he just phoned it in on this album.
@desdinovaboc How could you say something like that about him. Shame on you man!!! He is old now and lost a lot from his great voice but just listen to albums like Hughes/Thrall or Blues. Than you'll know why they called him in the 80's "The Voice Of Rock".
Hmmmmm- as much as I love Iommi, and actually like Glenn Hughes too, my god this song SUCKS! What a lousy excuse for lyrics. This is as lame as bad KISS.
@russianvandam he is a great vocalist. Known as "the voice of rock"... He as worked with coverdale, blackmore, paice, lord, iommi, glover, turner, KLF, he has been in phenomena, trapeze. He is now doing the tribute for Dio with the other h&h boys. Listen to seventh star as well
"maybe this is just not his genre" well it is and btw.. if you are so unsure maybe you should listen to him more.. he has been a singer in phenomena, trapeze, deep purple (with coverdale), black sabbath and so on and he is known as "the voice of rock".. so he is not an unknown..
Holy shit.. This song is heavy. And i mean FUCKING HEAVY!!!! I like listened to this song for the first time 2day after years of it's release. Iommi's solo works are always underrated.. Pizzaface2012, thanx for d post dude. Really appreciate it.
