That is not true! i have a trio of Clarkii as well Maroon! that just goes to show that you can have trios as well as pairs, given they are added at the right time.
What kind of clownfish you have their? can one of your clownfish can live with two percula clownfish in a 20 gallon nano fish tank If I put one bubble tip anemones is that fine? can you show us how to feed the bubble tip anemones please on your next youtube video? can your clownfish can feed the bubble tip anemones?
i have a cinnamon clownfish and my friend has one too his is smaller so we are trying to pair them up. So far mine is very selfish and don't want to share my friend anemone which he recently added and mine the one she lived in, do you have any idea what we could do to pair them
Just let them do their thing. =) My female rarely lets the male into her anemone (the Rose anemone), unless you have a big enough anemone, I think male will keep getting pestered.
it is absolutely ok to have 2-3 different species but at times they can get a bit terretorial so.. as long as you have the right anenomies for the right kind of clowns it should be fine.. i hope that answers your question
Been doing research for my own tank in the near future - thought Id throw this question out there and see if any knows: Is it possible to have 2-3 different species of Clowns in the same tank aslong as you have enough Anenome(s) in the tank??? Or is it all out war when you intermix them in that way??
Unfortunately not too long after this video one of the juv. clown got rejected. They were doing really well together for the first two days... then the supposedly more "passive" of the juvs bullied the other one for a day or two. When the female joined in on the bullying, I knew it was time for him to go. Ended up trading the little guy with a local reefer for some frags. It was worth a try!
Good to hear, I lost my clown a few weeks ago when my tank came apart at the seams one night, bad deal all the way around, but im up a going again and looking for two percs as we speak.
