heyy.. i got my hair rebonded 2 days ago.. i cud still see some fringes and curves.. m really worried.. is it permanent?? or will it b okay after the wash?? note: the hair havent been shampooed yet... pls help.. :(

@DEAD2490 It all really depends on the product and the procedure. Which salon or hairdresser did you go to? If the fringes and curves are there after rebonding, it will not get straight anymore. Consult a reputable hairdresser to have it fixed but only after several weeks.

for me it only lasted for a year.but u you should only use conditioner for a week no shampoo cuz it will make your ends curve.

Although we do not see any harm if the cream stays for a few more minutes, the straightening cream should have had the desired effect after 45 minutes. Sorry, am not familiar with blowaway rebonding. Lately, a lot of people experiment with perms and straighteners and call it a kind of rebonding treatment.

For your hair, I suggest you first work on the roughness and dryness by getting Intensive Conditioning or Hot Oil Treatments. When it is healthy and soft already, then you can get waves or curls. If you get your hair permed now, it will only be damaged and become drier.

how would you maintain the treatment? other than using conditioner? is ironing the hair necessary to use daily? or blow drying? and what kind of conditioner would u recommend to use?

Conditioner would not maintain the treatment but would help the hair and scalp get back its lost nutrients that were removed by treatments such as straightening (or coloring). No need to iron the hair daily. Blow drying depends on the condition of the hair and the style preferred. More or less, a rebonding treatment gives the hair a straightened effect that lasts if applied properly.
