Chris B...when I hear this song and Chris's magical blow....it like standing on top of a hill, hot sweating with no relief in sight, thinking "when will this end". And then out of no where a breeze picks up and you extend you hands upward and quickly you can feel the trickle of sweat drying within an instant. You stand on top of the hill in total amazement. The heat is over and the breeze deminishes, and still the calmness continue and the angelic sound in  the back ground of Chris B.

Chris Botti is a true genius on the trumpet. I love Chantal Kreviazuk as well but her vocals on this song are weak. If you ever get a chance watch the Chris Botti concert on HDNet in which he does this song with Paula Cole on vocals and Burt Bacharach on the piano. You will see how much depth Paula Cole brings to the song. It is so good it sends chills up your spine!!

@ackpaintdude1, Her opening singing is weak. It would have been a better contrast had she sang with forthrightness, strong, and with imagination but her voice was frail at times, and unsure. Botti's interpretation is soft, smooth, brooding, and circumpectial. We don't need that repeated in a voice. We need a contrast. This music could have been done better. And they should put in a real drummer instead of a drum machine.

@ackpaintdude1, this reason this singer is wrong is that her interpretation style isn't in synch with Botti's modern individualistic jazz style. Her singing sounds is staid and predictable, and, while not bad, was not exceptional either.

She doesn't have a strong voice nor an alluring tone. She seem to copy Dusty Springfield's style of "The Look of Love" into Botti's but that familiar direct old singing style doesn't go well with Botti's modern brooding cool style arrangement.

What is the GO with the rhythm track feel??? Like someone forgot to replace the Drum machine...........I cant beleive no one picked it up when the track was laid down ....needs a few 16th accents on the kick and the Bass ,,,,so it swings a glides a little better!!
