I liked all of his films through "The Village" (which I think is highly underrated). "Lady in the Water" was strange and unsatisfying, but I didn't think it was bad. "The Happening" was laughably horrible, and I have yet see "Last Airbender".
The list of what he taught us soooo true and exactly why i love him!
Hope he's gonna cooperate with Bryce or Adrien once again, cause they were gorgeous in THE VILLAGE,my fave btw and the film which changed my life for any reason, which made me go deeper ..which made me see the world from a different angle and which even made me starting to believe in spirituality,Lady in the Water gave me the final kick..will buy "Devil" soon&watch it with my best♥
I love Shyamalan's films. He's easily one of the most original and interesting directors working today. The reason why some people like to trash him, I think, is that they think of him as a horror director, when he really isn't. He uses supernatural components to tell very emotional stories about wounded characters. I know it sounds trite, but people just don't get what he's about.
@Ashiman12 I agree, Shyamalan's films make you think more than using overblown CGI and gore, every one of his films, even airbender, makes you think in a different way than you did beforehand. He's a storyteller plain and simple.

i'm a huuuge shyamalan fan,,in fact he's my rolemodel...i don't want to be critical...but y didn't you use james newton howards music...one of the shyamaln films....but again, no offend, the music you choose is very fitting and freakin awesome..would give 5 stars if we had the old lay out
@Brabbel93 in the weeks i took 2 prepare this vid, i was racking my brain which jnh music 2 use, and from what movie. i must've gone back n forth a couple hundred times trying 2 make a decision. in fact i chose NOT 2 use 1 finally b/c there were just 2 many 2 choose from. i chose this one b/c it had the build-up and the impact i was looking 4. thx sooooo much 4 da comment...feel free 2 reply back 2 me.
he has made the most greatest films of all time lady in the water wansnt his best film but was great in my books and to all the douches who think m. night sucks you can get fucked and have a brain because for his films you need to think about it the twists are phenomenal
sixth sense: malcome was a ghost
unbreakable: sam.l.jackson made all those accidents just so he can find a real life superhero
signs: water killed the aliens and technacly the wife warned them
@champFichtnerBourne I love him and i don't e,get either why people hate him,i just guess, the happenings in his movies are too profound for people to understand,i guess,u have to be a little..well,dunno,different minded,if that is a word :D to understand his films ♥
