  • What's next? The Police Department billing people for showing up at an accident during an ice storm?

  • For all you know, all the firefighters there are volunteer which means they have to leave work and come, they deserve to get paid. 28000 is alot less then a new home dumbass.

  • This guy is retared this is another reason why the MEDIA paints a different story, New Castle Indania has a population of about 17,000 people, which means they have a small to non-existent fire department, I feel bad for the guy but you never know, people there might have voted to have a small department. Its just another story of someone bitching because they its effecting them, look to the future people, and prepare for the worst. Don't judge until you know the whole story

  • They have to pay for ipods, microwaves, computor games and internet, when my great grand daddy was a fireman all he had was a half a glass of water and 1 rubber boot that leaked!

  • @TheBakerman55 You obviously don't know anything about the fireservice and how much it costs to run one. Just because a firefighter has an ipod or internet, doesn't mean the fire dept. is paying for it.

  • Oh man... I often feel sooo sorry for the people of the USA :(

  • Almost none of these are a hard billing process. It's pretty much hey it would be nice if you could pay this, but no big if you don't. So stop using fire departments as a way to bitch and moan about the government and it's misuse of tax dollars, it makes you look like a dimwit.

  • stom amerikaans gelul!

  • This is exactly why capitalism is the worst thing to have ever been created by men!!

  • 19,500 pennies. lol, that stuck it too them

  • and what you dont realize is that is where professional fire depts started. if a bldg was insured then they would put it out bc thats who paid them. so it is not that far fetched

  • they just bill a portion of what they save. if they go into a 250k home and keep the damage to 50k they just saved the insurance company 200k. does it not make sense for the insurance to pay......lets say 10% of what they saved them?!

  • What "Cenk" doesn't realize is, most fire departments are volunteer and rely on donations. Is it realistic to expect someone to provide a free service to the extent at which firefighters do? Yeah, $28k is over the top but who pays for the diesel, wear and tear on the trucks, and any expenses used to put out your fire?

  • $28,000 for a house fire?! Holy shit! That is ridiculous. I can understand departments charging suppression costs but that is way outta line. The departments I work for only charge around $150, if that, for all members and all trucks to put out the fire. Grass and brush/ woods fires however, just depend on how long it takes to suppress.

  • that guy that talks is an ass

  • @MrCooltim45 No, he has good points.

  • ur right firetrucks101 because everybody needs taxes

  • And if the FD wants a tax increase, we spend our days off to go house to house to convince people for the service. I pay my taxes each year and 300 of my property taxes go to schools and 13 dollars goes to the fire department. See something wrong, look at that and see that people should realize its up to you to vote yes for that increase for better coverage. The increase isn't that much of a burden for each person to handle. But when everyone pays it, it adds up and provides you with more.

  • If people don't want to be charged, then accept a tax increase of some kind. If they're are hurting for money and you want them to come put your house that's on fire out, then quit saying no to tax increases for a service that you may need in the future. It costs a lot more money to run a fire department then the average person knows. Where I live, everyone always votes yes to more school money all the time

  • i masturbate to this video

  • yea u have to pay for fire fighters to let ur house burn and for a guy to look at a burned yard here how it is going to work u have to pay me for gas i use to burn down ur house with my flamethrower

  • he's barking like a slutty bitch

  • Trashman, you don't get money because youre a VOLUNTEER! if you don't like it, don't volunteer. Simple as that. Someone else that gives a shit about supporting small communities will step in your place.

  • ok i see people complaining about being VOLUNTEER firefighters saying we need money to volunteer..ive been a volunteer firefighter myself and i was happy seeing the people in my community safe thats the whole reason you VOLUNTEER...ugh man i swear the capitalism in this country is disturbing

  • you cry about money ! how about when we the firefighters risk our lives to put that fire out or to save a baby, girl or boy / men and women /lives don't compare with money ! the r worth a lot more !

  • Too bad FD is not a gov service. It is city and town run.

  • Now if white people never came to the America's

  • One day we will be paying taxes for the oxygen we breathe.

  • Taxpayer money should be used to pay for it. No one should be charged for it. But that taxpayer money should go to a privately owned company not controlled by the government. They will do a better job.

  • I buy I own fire truck and park it out side my house don't need 911 for any thing that's america

  • Guess what, The owner of the home help purchased "ALL" of their equipment. Tunrs out much of it was purchased by federal tax dollars. Hum!!! He should get his money back!!!!!!!

  • Volunteers are the one's that need it the most, My Station receives no tax money, how else can we do our job if we have no fuel in the truck? No truck to put fuel in, unless you are a Firefighter like myself, and goodman070, do not say bad things about us. I sleep on the floor three nights out of the week, and get up at three in the morning to come to your house. Don't you think I should have a bed to sleep in? Trucks to come save you? Think about it.

  • @F6rd6SvtR6cing2010 i am a volunteer as well and we don't have anything but a couch to sleep on and someone from our fire co gave that to the co. we have a hard time getting money into the company . bingo hogie sale's and thing's like that to get us the money we need to keep on running calls . i disagree with this guy . if we all could get money for risking our lives to help others why not ?

  • @trashman941 I agree 100%, Stay safe brother.

  • @F6rd6SvtR6cing2010 .... always bro ....

  • hey heres a tip. ENGLAND! go on, try it

  • There are fire depts. all over the country that are severly underfunded, its sad that it has come to this. The average person in my community pays $11 dollars per year to our fire dept. but they wont budge to pay several dollars more, its rediculous what this has come to.

  • .... this is fucking terrible...

Here's what it comes down to: reps believe if you aren't smart/tough enough to figure out how to make a lot of money for yourself then you're not worthy of having your fires put out, let alone living.

  • Boss Tweed would be proud.

  • Volontiers give me a fucking break than how are they paying ther bills. Fuckin pussis ewribody wonts more money I wona be a millioner too I don't care becouse their trucks are 500k ask for discount I m not paying for that shit I m only paying taxes and that is it.

  • HarveyRex23: I sure hope not. It was in my attention that Libertarians believed the government was here to protect our natural rights, which include life, liberty, and property. We have a PD to protect some of those things, and it seems in line to have a FD to protect those things as well.

Does anyone know why this would work, because in all honesty, I'm not sure why a libertarian might say the above makes any more sense than publicizing hospitals. =/

  • For Profit Private fire departments are a fuckin right wing Libertarian's wet dream.

  • So how do you expect fire stations to up keep their equipment and training if they can't charge anyone for their services? not even a volunteer firefighter departments, which i am a part of, can not relay on tax money there isn't enough to go around, have you priced a fire truck lately? they're not cheap. keep up your bitching and complaining and when your house catches fire and your fire dept can't save your whole house because they can't afford the equipment they need to do our job efficiently

  • @goodman070

Politicians have to have the balls to stop listening to red-neck right-wingers who bitch & moan about how high their taxes are -- and as Cenk says raise taxes to cover costs. This is asinine! But, as an educator I know schools ALWAYS need to cut-back so I'm sure Fire Dept's can reduce costs in some ways, also.

  • so your excepting firefighters to cut back to reduce cost?? Have you looked at most fire dept's in this great country? most are volunteer, meaning that the firefighter's don't get a pay check, every cent from a fire or car wreck goes to the Dept in your community to possibly HELP YOU one day, and you want them to cut back, bet your ass you wont be saying that when your the one with a house on fire or stuck in your car because you rolled it, quit your bitching,

  • @goodman070 Yes I do --- just like SCHOOLS have to! Teachers are LAID OFF ... class size increases; salaries are cut-back, etc.. it's a sorry situation thanks to the economic mess we're in (caused by right-wing neo-liberal economic policies started by Reagan and acclerated by Bush 41 & 43) but the public-sector entities have to tighten belts. We need to demand that politicians do the courageous thing and support ALL our public services.

  • So your saying everything is a business, even the pd?

  • I should say if fire fighters had the same philosophy as (I guess the hot term is) corporatists, they'd be freakin' rich. But just imagine the bill business might end up getting for a fire at an oil refinery or some such. But I'll bet it would be able to duck the bill.

  • Grrr .... Worth watching even though I wonder how long a comment might stay up. Some "volunteer firefighters" are actually what are known as paid on call. Just that, they're paid for the call to which they respond. Some also get benefits--such as a pension and the opportunity to take free community college courses. If ff's had the same philosophy as Wall Street and bankers, they'd be freakin' rich. Fine, then let it burn. Good luck getting out of the car on your own. Etc.

  • Yeah, shame the Republicans are in complete control. Even though Obama and the Democrats control everything, it must be the Republicans fault.

  • do u have to pay for the police's donuts?

  • Its incredibl: this country is going broke way too fast?

WTF? I am pretty much sure that the government do have the funds to pay for these emergency responders.

The U.S makes more money then any parts of the world. How on earth is the U.S going broke so damn fast?

  • @AlvaroAndfriends "How on earth is the U.S going broke so damn fast?" It's due to what's called 'American Empire' and the Military-Industrial Complex.... don't you know?!

  • LOL if i knew i wouldn't ask that question.

Thanks for the thumbs down LOL

  • @AlvaroAndfriends

Sorry..I hit the thumbs down by mistake. Meant to say thumbs UP!

  • There is no jobs in Detroit pretty much at all. Since there is 30-40% unemployment, wages are terrible and even people who are working are poor.

  • If your house is on fire and its too late, hold guard in front of the house with a shot gun.

  • Yes that is why he threw out the Dove sellers.

but " all who were buying and selling there" implies everyone else.

  • The corporate future is now.

  • I know in my city (in Canada) You can be fined for not having a working smoke detector if they are called out to put out a minor fire where no substantial damage has occurred. It is a tool for them to use to ensure that city residents replace batteries. The fine is completely discretionary and is there as a stick to ensure safety compliance. Every time a fine is issued it will be reported to the newspaper.... sans personal info.

  • Why should I pay for YOUR fire? We are Taxed Enough Already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well next time your house burns to the ground, good luck paying $28 000

  • If the police were private they would be corporate military squads protecting the investment of corporations.

  • lol, and people say socialism is bad, well here it is, capitalism at its best.

  • What the fuck... I'm moving out of America if this becomes a trend.

  • Instead of pennies, pay with a series of checks for 1 cent each... More costly? Yes. Worth it? Totally...

  • I don't know why Any Americans Stay in America.

It's like agreeing and paying TO STAY IN HELL.

America IS THE WORST PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE.

GREED, BETRAYAL, FEAR AND DECEPTION IS ALL AMERICA HAS.

  • Where do you suggest we go? China? North Korea? Haiti? South Africa? Somalia?

  • I bet Glen Beck gets a tiny little hardon every time a fire department bills a fire victim.

  • Matthew 21:12 "Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves." ALL who where BUYING AND SELLING!!

  • Comment removed

  • This is outrageous. Once again this country manages to screw things up. Mismanagement of tax dollars that can't pay for the services they were meant for. Yet, big time bonuses run rampant but let's not touch that. Ok, let's see how long this goes on when folks get really fired up.

  • what is the war for if u can't get ur house fire put out? reallocate tax dollars reassess priorities

  • The politicians doing this say that they are doing it in order to spread the wealth. Only those who have insurance that covers emergency services are billed - those without insurance are exempt. The politicians are liberals; seven conservative states have banned the practice.

  • "thats what you get outa neoliberalism"...

    you lost me.

  • The Fire Brigade in the UK was 'private' msuch any many years ago but they realised that when a house went on fire that was not insured or covered then the Brigade wouldn't put it out - it wasn't long until such fires spread and burnt down a lot of houses - including ones the Brigade did cover.

Why are people in the US not going crazier that you are fighting 2 wars and can't even put out your own fires for free!

  • if somebody burns down the fire hall then who pays for it?

  • the people who got the bill for $28,000 should pay in pennies!

  • ya know, for someone to stand around and spray my house with fire for a couple hours, I don't think paying them is absurd, but 28,000 dollars?!? I mean, they don't pay for the firemen who are volunteers do they? Maybe a little food at the station and stuff, but seriously, that's way too much.

  • man america is some mess

  • what is wrong with the people who are passing these laws? Charged for putting out fires? That's absurd.

  • WHAT THE HELL

    ARE WE PAYING TAXES FOR

    THEN.

Oh we pay taxes for WARS

    and BAILOUTS for the bigs

  • We pay taxes for polititions to feather their nests and give big contracts to their big business friends. Don't you know?

My god Fire Department? we have 6000 people in our township, we pay $90,000 a year for fire service that's 15 bucks a head. On the other hand I pay over 60 grand in taxes so even if they totally cut the fire they are spending on so many other things that government SHOULD NOT BE DOING. Our township tracks money spent for printer ink, you think they do at the state level?

  • I like to pay my taxes And I would Gladly Pay a bit more to have my or my neighbors house put out if it were on fire .....Taxes are not a bad thing it is how we pay for our Civilization...There was a time When the richest folks in this county were taxed 90% of their income and still made enough to do what they wanted...taxes as low as they are now is a recent Phenomena and may not be a good thing... I don't believe in insurance placing bets on my risks I do belive in taxes for the rich

  • That is the problem you see. Taxes on just the rich. Take California for example. If you make about 50,000 a year you dont pay any income taxes but you do vote for tons of government services so many it turns out that the state goes bankrupt taxing the rich. Some states tried to do a millionairs tax, gues what the millionairs moved out of the state and they ended up with LESS revenue. Texas does it right, NO INCOME TAXES, Everyone pays sales tax and they vote for small government.

  • Why does it have to be one extreme or the other for you guys? Why can you not just sort your shit out in a reasonable fashion without resorting to ridiculous extremes?

  • what if they taxed your weed? how much did you actually make legally that you actually paid taxes on?

  • Why is it that in YT land, people like you don't have the capacity to handle thoughts. Why do you reduce yourself to childish name calling?

  • Substitute Hospital for Fire Department. Hello Hellthcare. Portions of the private healthcare system will be taken over by the government. Taxes will be raised to pay for it. As usual they'll fail to operate within the budget. They'll be re-privatized with the taxes still in place... repeat as needed...

to the left, to the right, to the left, to the right

  • If it happens to me I'll pay in hella pennies too!

  • lol Let's think about this for a moment... How often do fires burn buildings to the ground in this country? How often is your house invaded by terrorists? Which is ACTUALLY the bigger threat to Americans on American soil? Which department gets more funding... Just think about that for a moment.

  • So we don't need government. Let us eliminate it there is no use for it.

  • But that was true in tribal times as well. If you strayed on the land claimed by some tribe, do you think they'd let you forage their food supply? I doubt it. Unless you're talking about going to live in isolation in remote areas, which you could still do today.

Of course it was easier back then because there weren't many people around. But simply introducing anarchy wouldn't change that. It would most likely lead to mass starvation and violence for at least the first decade or so.

  • I've been making a super capitalist privatize nation on nationstates the past year. Privatizing fire stations, unlimited corporate money to politicians, all issues I said yes to.

It unnerves me that America is turning into my country.

  • Have Americans ever heard of building their houses out of bricks, stone and cement? Why does the richest country live in flimsy particle board and wood houses that burn down by the thousands each year?

  • that's the same thing that was said about the Income Tax "Only the rich will pay it" "In 1913, the top tax rate was 7% on incomes above $500,000 ($10 million 2007 dollars)." look at it today what else happened the same year Federal Reserve & the IRS Their motto should be "Enslaving the population since 1913" why do you think people cant afford health care look at the value of the dollar drop since the inception of the federal reserve Value of the dollar $1 1913 $.97 $1 2009 less than a nickle
  • would b alot easier and make more sense if they only charged bankers.. that is if it's the tax money they're looking for

  • God that sounds like Crassus in Ancient Rome who did exactly that. Either you sell em your house or I will not put out the fire

I think I will go in the corner and cheer for Cicero

  • LOL NO, what Insurance company do you know of that intentionally takes on losses? not only will the Premiums be higher but the Taxes will be higher to cover the entitlements.

    Free food

    Free clothes

    Free medical

    Free (Re)education

    Free Housing

we already have this Progressive Utopia.......It's called Jail

Better hope the Other People don't run out of Money

  • Premiums will skyrocket if Insurance companies are forced to cover preexisting conditions.I don't think you understand Insurance

Insurance is a form of risk management primarily used to hedge against the risk of a contingent loss. Insurance is defined as the equitable transfer of the risk of a loss, from one entity to another, in exchange for a premium,

there is no risk of loss with preexisting conditions, it is 100% certain the Insurance company will take a loss..........

  • .......& pass that loss to the Premium payers. this will cause everyone to stop buying health Insurance because it will be too expensive. that's why the government wants mandated insurance. but now you create more moral hazards. those that don't buy Insurance are criminals, those that can't afford health Insurance are subsidized & those that can will not only pay higher premiums but also higher taxes forcing low wage earners to quit their jobs & become subsidized ............

  • ....... or Prices to skyrocket so businesses can pay employee's more to cover their losses.

I don't think the Progressives have thought this through carefully. Thankfully not all democrats are Progressives.

  • so we'll shift it from "Most bankruptcies in this county are medical related" to Most bankruptcies in this county are Tax related.

  • i'll take my socialist Britain over America anyday- those teabaggers are twats!! free healthcare, education and public services like the police and fire departments are unacceptable apparently in America - sad really, when i was growing up America was like this illusion of a nation of freedom and prosperity- what are you now? kinda pathetic, willing to fund billions even trillions for wars in the ME but you'd rather die then help poor people get healthcare

  • In my township we charge taxes to the people that live here to pay for fire service from the city. The money funds the fire department even if we don't have any fires. That is the governments responsibility, make sure the services are there, ready to go. Now if I have a fire at my home, I get a bill from the fire department, my fire, my responsibility. So I buy fire insurance that also pays the fire department as well as buys me a new home at replacement cost. It's not ALL or NOTHING folks,

  • @LuxeonIII As a Brit, I love the way you are proudly announcing that you are paying for your fire service twice.

  • You don't understand. Like car insurance for example. You pay for insurance for the major stuff but you pay extra up to a limit for your own screw ups. If car insurance paied for everything then we would have people running each other off the road, no worries, free health care, free cars, free everything is what causes the masses to become weak and feeble. People need concequences for doing stupid stuff that start most home fires like , Smoking, Cooking fires, heaters on extension cords.

  • @LuxeonIII No, you don't get it. Your example assumes that the charge is only levied if i's the persons fault. However, as I understand it, whether the fire is the homeowners fault, these firefighters will charge them. Are you penalised by your car insurance if someone else hits your parked car (and I don't mean losing your no-claim bonus, I mean having to pay for the full cost of repairs)? If so, why have inurance if you always have to pay?

  • Have you EVER heard of FIRE INSURANCE? OF COURRRRRSSSSEEEE people don't buy insurance to pay for the Fire department if the TAXPAYERS pick up the bill. Now the beauty of this change, people that own a home will BUY INSURANCE TO COVER the fire departments bill as well as getting a brand new home via the beauty of insurance. It's called individual responsibility. That way people wont let their homes become fire traps because the government won't BAIL THEM OUT!

  • The real problem is neither privatization nor free enterprise; rather, the real core problem is socialism.

When the government taxes citizens too much and wastes the revenue, then the government's so-called "solution" is to increase taxes to compensate.

The real solution is that the tax revenue be spent efficiently and responsibly by the government. Usually, the reason why there isn't enough public funding is because the government wastes it on unaccountable and irresponsible spending.

  • @neil123789456

its called fascism you disinfo fuck

  • Exactly irresponsible spending like shipping literally billions of dollars on an actual CRATE to Iraq...I completely agree that illegal wars cost far too much and we should be investing in our future as a republic not blindly lashing out at the rest of the world.

  • @jasonjbell the fact is they dont want it too work too well and in your interest..these are corps working in their own interest.......what a joke

  • "government wastes it on unaccountable and irresponsible spending."?

Your absolutely right, Like a trillion a year on irresponsible wars and another trillion a year on servicing the debt left to us by Republican presidents.

But what i don;t get is why idiots like you keep voting Republican?

  • Ya.... Where I live you have to pay to have your fires put out....... it sucks

  • However, if you are a taxpayer then your taxes can be lower and YOU can buy fire insurance to protect your home with the money you would have sent the government that may or may not pay for a fire department. Things cost money, when will people understand California the biggest state in the US as well as the Federal government are BROKE. NO MONEY! Stop asking for taxpayers to pay for EVERYTHING!

  • @LuxeonIII when are you gonna understand that corporatons DO NOT COVER YOU! They'll always find ways around it, isn't that what the BIGGEST problem was with healthcare? Would like to see you mouthing off how bad paying taxes is the day you get a 50k bill from the Fire dept for extinguishing your fire. My guess is, you'll be a lot more humble in that situation.

  • This is absolutely un-FUCKING-believable! America has become one big Republican Glory Hole, and Americans are getting fucked daily. It's no wonder the middleclass is going bankrupt in this country. Its this - only look out for yourself- attitude that will sink America!

  • yeah the republicunts will aplaud this bullshit.

  • philateliceun, you are right on the money. Republicans will follow whatever Fox news wants them too, so they will love this! Until they are in the situation of their house burning down, then they will be the loudest people crying and bitching and looking for a free handout! It's like Republicans say "FUCK IT", unless its something they need at that exact time.

  • ...psstt... ill give u a hint... ITS THE SAME THING.

  • i hope the ppl whose houses were burnt down are part of the TEA movement that calls Obama a "Fascist, Socialist, Nazi".

    that'd be really awesome.

  • My Taxes don't pay for any of that... Never thought I'd say this but I'm thankful to be British, yeah our politicians are just as sleazy and waste alot of it on expenses but atleast we have National Insurance, which covers any healthcare we may or maynot require.

  • Wow... this is terrible.

  • Typical christian radical with an internet connection.

Probably would worship Rush, or Beck or something equal, before a TRUE God.

    P.S.

And yes, proper grammar in this situation.

I meant "something" when i said it.

  • so why do we pay local an state taxes?

  • Hell yeah, i would've done the same.

  • This is like watching the cracks in the wall before the whole building breaks down.

  • Also, with all the tyaxes that we pay, which are extremely HIGH, they shouldnt be out of tax dollars. take that up with the feds, not us.

  • Thats ridiculous.

What the hell do our taxes pay for then?

  • Now this is true capitalism. What, you don't like it?

Are you some kind of... SOCIALIST?

  • Yes, yes I am. I like being social with my fellow human being, and not treating them like a threat to my income.

  • Wow I'm glad not be in the US.

  • america... u are literally going to burn urself to the ground

  • Wow that sucks I would do time before I pay those fuckers a red cent

  • This is Rush Limbaugh's America and if you dont like it commies then leave.

  • @Ravinian long live Rush, long live fascism and free Oxycontin for everyone!

  • Many states already have legislation going that would make this illegal. Most fireman as individuals find this practice disgusting, and any city or county that does this will eventually be sued or worse. What's next? A bill for police responding to a home invasion or assault? A very sick form of capitalism.

  • MADNESS

  • WTF America!!!!!!!!! hahaha

    Money hungry Bastards!

  • of course they should pay. There should just be more competition in putting out fires then the prices would go down. Goverment run fire departments is socialism.

  • hahah lol are you serious i hope not.

  • That's either great sarcasm or you're an idiot.

  • @TheUSMetalhead wow you really think my sarcasm was great? thanks

  • is going to be rly fun when it happens to u and u have 2 give them all ur money

  • @allisinthepass no it wont happen to me because I practice a thing called personal responsibility thats something you liberals dont know nuthin about. Go read Sarah Palin's new book 'going rogue' and you might learn sumthin. Hail Hitler!

  • @ aptex

yea because all people who get their houses burnt down didn't have a thing called personal responsibility.

Many things could happen. A family friend of ours some time ago had a fire at the house because of some electrical wiring problems. If you were in charge the entire neighborhood would have burnt down i guess. and oh yea what if you were the neighbor?

    You jackass

  • @shaqLegend08 no only houses in the ghetto burn down because of poor wiring. Right is right

  • @aptex

They didn't live in the ghettos. They lived in a quite a nice neighborhood.

yea only houses in the ghettos catch on fire.... dumbass

  • You aren't serious right? You have to be joking.

  • @ShadowBlazer19 Right

  • You have the audacity to tell people to go read a book the author spent donated money to buy for herself?

you are a waste of time.

  • @WiiAreSIN that book is required reading for all 'real Americans' but some of us at the tea parties are gonna need the audio version. hehe

  • lol sarah palin's book and learning are two set of words u usually dont see together

  • @allisinthepass no you can learn how to shoot a moose from a helicopter. In some places thats very usefull

  • EVERY PERSON in America owes $348,000. without health care added in.......where are we going to get the money? Tax it? I'm pretty much taxed to death already. how about you? Sell debt? nobody wants our debt. Print Money? we are already on the verge of a dollar collapse.

    watch?v=0-ZZFmKFk1s

if they monetize the debt you will earn the same but goods will cost more.... a lot more.

we hare already accumulated more debt then we can pay back without paying it back in devalued dollars.

  • what the shit is this?!

  • If a fire department sent me a bill I'd burn their fucking station down.

  • and then charge them for putting it out

  • O Canada.

My country is fucked up too, but I am so glad I was born this side of the border.

  • i would be too. lucky asshole

  • Did we need health Insurance before the Government got involved with health care? When the Government gets involved markets get distorted, companies get greedy because they know they can, politicians become corrupt & we pay the price

  • have you ever thought this through? your not talking about the local businesses or even walmart your talking about goldman sachs & halburton. they exist because of crony capitalism (Wiki it). crony capitalism exists because of big government. I think you may be Identifying the problem but your not sure of the solution. your asking for more big government which breeds more crony capitalism.

let's use the health care bill as an example, the government wants to force you to buy Insurance. .......
