And now I play Drakensang The River of time on max again with 1 GB RAM, like Risen too and Prototype perfectly playable

I was just borrowing 2 GB RAM from a friend to play The Witcher 2 Assasins of Kings, everything on max exept UberSampling and Monitor Blur with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 again perfectly playable :)

My other computer has a 9400gt an amd athlon 64 3000+ (single core) and 2.5gb of ddr1 ram (dunno it's mhz) and despite it's crappy specs, it can run this game at 1064x768 most settings max (physics settings at minimum because of CPU limitations) with 20-30fps so it's not that hard of a game to run.

@pcman09 Yes I played mass effect 2 with highest settings and it runs very well, even better than the first mass effect what was a big surprise :) I can`t say how many fps did I have but it never laged or something like that.

It;'s impossible. I have Phenom ii x4 B50, 8800gt(same performance) and 1 gigs of ram 1600 and have 40-60 at 1024x768 res and aax4. Most of game i have average 50-60 but it hard moments or in camp around 28-45

Nice video Look at mine i uploaded Dragon age Origins videos. Your a warrior that duel wields, isn't duel wield DEX based so you have to be a rogue.

Btw for a POWER LEVEL trick get 3 veils of blood and talk to Duncan say "i have the veils of blood but not the treaties" then every time you say that you get XP. You can do this till level 25 but make sure you get the Veils of blood not the treaties

I've got a Athlon AMD 64 X2 clocked at 2.21 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, Windows Vista Home Premium and a 512 MB NVidia GeForce 9400 GT, and I have a major performance hit in Dragon Age. I get around 30-40fps in gameplay and from 10-50fps in cutscenes. Will upgrading to a 1 GB GeForce 9800 make a huge difference?

i think the 9800gt requires 450watt at minimum but mine is 420 watt and manages no problem. 300 seems a bit steep, you might want to invest in a slightly bigger psu

9800 GT requires a Power Supply, yes. I think it uses around 400 watts or so. Most stock PS are 300 >.>.

I didn`t say that the story isn`t bad, all animations and videos are quite nice but I don`t like the gameplay, but it depends what do you like.

I saw that the game got 9/10 on some internet reviews so it can`t be bad :P but not good for me :)
