  • How many times did the bottles hit you and you didnt die?

  • @darkfabled haha same story here bro, best memories!! :')

  • F U

  • Explicas in English pls

  • BAD ENDING!!

First, you need to have TWO PLAYERS! Then, on level 99, you have to have one person snag the crystal ball that appears briefly, then you have to jump in the door that opens.... that allows you to fight the REAL boss, and you BOTH have to survive, then you get the good ending.

  • Level 99 is impossible! -:(

  • did anyone ever get to level 20 with first life and find the secret diamond room? then level 30 the door came again and level 40 if you were still on your first life? that was the best i did, i never got to level 50 without dying lol

  • @spongehowden

I did.. in level 50 if you rich without dying you got a blue door which put you directly in 70th level..of course, I always played with my partner, alone it's immpossible

  • @spongehowden

You get the diamond stage and secret door with the original game cheat.. ( 1,2,1,2,1,2, right 1pstart) and power up (L,1.L.1p.L.2.L.1p) to make the game fast without needing sweets and shoes.. and we used to get 100 credits after finishing it in 1 credit.

  • What about the blue chick!

  • Sorry...if you want the "happy end" you have to beat Bubble Bobble with 2 players.

  • FUCK YEAH BUBBLE BOBBLE

  • I concur :)

  • DIG DUG II

  • never beat this one myself, I used to have fun guessing codes in the beginning that would send me to random crazy levels!

  • Haha, I used to use this method when fighting Dreg to. Wicked video, good memories.

  • this was my childhood game! i'm still really good at it, too. lol. the only thing that pisses me off is that when all of the enemies are killed at every level, it doesn't let you finish eating all of the food/stuff that's left! that's why i don't kill all of them at once... haha.

  • wow urr really good at this game i watched this video then played the aracde version and it really helped me watching u play this level thanks

  • Guys can u temme where can i download this game?I love this game me n my sis was on lvl 99 n died!!so i need to finish this game...plzz guys do rep!!

  • I really loved this game, I didn't own it, my cousin did.

  • This guy didn't even beat the game! what a loser! J/K.

but seriously it wasn't a true ending. everybody knows that bubble bobble philosophy states that friendship is the secret of life or something, so you can't beat it unless it's 2 player. uh duh.

  • Indeed it wasn't a true ending, but it was an ending that lets me carry on playing! Read the guide on my web site -- I'm not trying to beat it, I'm trying to get as much play time for my single credit as I can. Finishing round 100 in this way let me play (in theory) forever (though in practise, it's usually slightly less than that)

  • great end

    you very quickly player

i play 20 yaers ago and make 2000000 point

make some secret before play for walk quickly and make quickly bubble

  • Ubernerd.

  • @MrKevinhagen false i was be able to reach level 97 without being player 2.except in 95 that i grabbed a bottle in the 2nd cage.

the 96 is not that hard is the 97 that seems impossible

  • That wasn't a true ending.

  • wow urr good at this game

  • where can i find this game.. I lost it a very long time ago and want it back!!!

  • whats the password for this level

  • lol i mean n lol

  • u didn't get that x earlyer

  • omg im at this lvl right now on my wii playing bubble bobble plus =] , yay beating it the first day i got it

  • 100 wasnt the hardest ..

79 was tricky if i remember right...

  • holy shit

  • i want to find the original version

if you know something help me please

  • This video contains nonhuman abilities

  • R u human?

  • This brings back good memories.

  • haha owned

  • The GameBoy version has 200 stages and I played through all of them 18 years ago. lol.

  • I used to have this on my old mac computer I would play for like hours with my friend lol

  • do you know that if you go to the main menu and press B (or something) you can choose the level?

  • jajajaja

    severo de juegaso XD

  • he did not really beat the game. i thought the same thing when i beat it. but it traps you an says you need 2 people to really beat the game. but nicely played tho.

  • If you read the guide on my web site (see the video title) you'll see the reason why I didn't complete the game -- the guide's objective is to show how to play the game for as long as possible, not how to finish it; completing the last level in this way warps you back to an earlier stage, letting you play for as long as you have lives left.

  • If I recall correctly on the NES you'd press start to pause and select to create Bob from one of your lives just before the end.

  • Wow. Great playing skill.

  • Ive got the Master system version and im stuck so hopefully someone might know. When I get to level 148 (the first boss stage) the stage is in complete darkness and goes on like that for the rest of the stages. On level 125 is a door I cant open - do you need a key or something?

Has anyone ever gone past level 100 and knows what im on about??

  • Lame game version.. bubbles going over each other like that ain't like the normal...

  • Um this is the normal game that came out in the arcade in 1986...

The version/s that u are probly thinking bout are inferior versions. This one is the proper arcade version on MAME.

  • Awesome. Very very awesome: I love you! :D

  • Awesome game. I still have the Nes version. Is the crystal ball that leads to the backdoor still present in this arcade version ?

  • Not really. It's just a straight-out 100 levels. If you beat it alone, it'll tell you that you can't win alone and send you back somewhere 'tween Round 50 to Round 90 I believe.

  • Wow you remember that eh? I think it is at around level 90 and you get warped to level A then B etc.. then you start all over from teh beginning. Is that how it goes?

  • Yeah it's something like that. Plus if you missed the crystal ball to unlock the backdoor, you get the bad ending. (Nes version I believe) It's been a while since I played the Nes version though.

  • After watching this video I put a bid on Ebay and one this game along with an original NES. Can't wait for it to come in LOL

  • The NES version of the game was crap compared to the proper arcade game

it was possible to keep playing over and over again in the arcade cos if u got to the end and beat the boss with only one player, it zapped u back to a random lvl. 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and so on. When it zapped you back to what ever lvl, u were rewarded with a treasure chest that made a 80,000 point diamond fall :P:P

  • wauw.. i didnt know!

  • No the crystal ball that u refer to is used in a different way in the arcade version. If u see it, pick it up. It makes power ups appear sooner in the next levels.

  • I see you're playing the arcade version. I've got the Sega Master System version in which has 200 rounds in total. I still can't get to the 200th round "without using cheat codes". I've heard you supposed to find 3 mirrors.......I can't find them!!!

  • Once you finish the arcade version of Bubble Bobble, the game will give you a code to unlock "SUPER" Bubble Bobble....

  • I have this game on my cell phone! it's cool!

  • what type of phone do you have and where did you get the game???

  • I have a sharp gx17...

I bought the game on vodafone live...

  • I have this game in my mobile phone and it is Sony Ericcon W800i

Just google the Game and you will find it

  • dam it took me forever to beat that bymyself...

  • I spent 10 years on and off trying to complete Bubble Bobble. When I eventually completed it, it told me in order to get a true ending, you must complete it with 2 players! ragin' I was, but ended up doing it. Certainly got value for money in those days. these you buy a game and you complete it within a month. Bubble Bobble rules all time.

  • wow that was impressive I couldn't get a system down with this level

  • This game was fun :)

  • Not meaning to be dumb but is this the end? As the Master System version of Bubble Bobble goes WAYYYY past Round 100. I swear its close to or past 200 rounds

  • its 200 rounds exactly, but i think the levels are almost identical after 100

  • The arcade version had 100 levels, although I understand that some of the home conversions including the Master System did indeed have extra levels.

The arcade version actually had a secret mode called "Super Bubble Bobble", which repeated the same 100 levels but swapped most of the enemies around and was much more difficult. This mode needs to be used to reveal the "true ending" of the game...

  • "Super Bubble Bobble" also appeared as a separate game on MAME for computer gaming

  • Round 100

  • how get you Bubble Bobble

  • have get you bubble bobble? how get you? neither question makes sense

  • Have get you Bubble Bobble

  • Wait, are these tool-assisted?

  • You made it look easy!

  • What system was this one played on? I got it for NES back when it first came out.

  • This is the original arcade version. You can read all about it, how to emulate it, cheats and lots more by visiting the full walkthrough page on my web site at adamdawes dot com.

  • How the hell did you get this far on Mame? I can't even get past lvl 40!

  • Read the walkthrough! :-)

  • I shall, thanks! :)

  • sad, ruin the game, play it normally and be a man

  • BE A MAN, LETS PLAY FOOTBALL... GGRRR MANLY MAN

lets play FOOOOTBALL and then FUCK IN THE LOCKER ROOM

    MEN!!!!

  • how is this ruining the game? LOL

  • do be brief, he's using invincibility

  • When me and my sister were little, when we first beat this game it said it wasn't a true ending and would tell you to go back to level 99. Then one person had to get the crystal ball while the other person tried to get the door and if you weren't quick enough the crystal ball would vanish and i think the door would too. There was also a way to steal lives. If you pressed pause and then select the other character would come into the game.

  • I've sadly never beaten that game. While I could defeat the end boss alone, no one else I knew could, so I always got the bad ending.

  • lol! the other person just gets ignored and left in the bubble!

  • I think I always got stuck at some level you had to bubble jump. COuld never get that right.

  • i could not understand how to bubble jump at all at first. but then i realised you just have to hold down jump. theres a way you can time it so you blow a bubble while jumping and then jump of that, you need to use it for some levels.

  • a little different from the original but still love the game

  • pretty sure this is the original. The NES version is based off this.

  • Thanks for all yor help...we finished the game in less then 2 hours. My thumbs hurt now but thats ok. Ive been playing this game since I was like 6yrs old. Now I am 16....kinda embarrassing I know but thanks.

  • man, you did it without dying once, really nice!

We spend like 4 or 5 coins in the last level ... need to get better, I think^^

  • I couldn't reach level 100 when I used to play in my 286 Amstrad in 1991, cuz I had 5 years and 5x or 6x levels were too dificult. But now I've passed the game and I'm happy seeing the "happy ending".

    Thats a goooooooooooooooooood game

  • i have been doing it wrong the whole time

  • KrazyKarasz -- whether it's a good ending or not depends on your perspective... It may not be a "true ending", but for me it's a GREAT ending as it means the game carries on longer! If you read through the guide (which this video is part of) on my site (adamdawes dot com) you'll see that the objective of the guide is to allow people to play as long as possible and get the highest score possible, and having the game loop around infinitely is perfect for that.

  • Yeah but unforunately, without Bob (or Bub if you play as Bob), that's not a good ending.

  • thx guy mi dad has een bugging me to find how to beat the last lev i told him that wen i beat it i needed to get the candys and even then it took me a while but he told me there was some speacial way again thx

  • Awesome im tryin got hunt down the original arcade machine!

  • To see the end sequence in Bubble Bobble you need to complete the game in 2-player co-operative mode.

  • Can't you show the ending too, please?

    Nice job, though.

  • if you want to see the ending you must earn it by playing from scratch, whats the point? You wouldn't open a book you haven't yet read and turn to the last page would you?

  • Way back in the day, I did complete it ;) I cannot remember what happened at the end. I'm guessing princesses come out and kiss the dragons? I have a vague recollection of that, or maybe that was some adult video I watched some time ;p
