I trust no politician but Jesus Christ. As a disciple of Christ, I refuse to get involved with politics and voting. I separate myself from human government to follow Him. I don't do governmental fundamentalist christendom stuff except preaching the gospel.
I trust Rand and Ron Paul. I don't trust anyone who covers for Federal Reserve printing trillions of dollars in secret. Printing trillions of dollars is one thing... Printing trillions of dollars in secret is a whole other ball of wax.
I believe in Ron Paul and his voting record speaks for itself. The Republicans try to write him off as this zany old man with radical ideas. That alone should tell you all you need to know. The fact that his own party is afraid to give him a spotlight.
@marvenp I don't understand why ppl say that they don't give him the spotlight; he's run for the nomination several times and run for Pres. once already. I think he's gotten many chances to win over the American voters, but it just hasn't happened for him. Maybe he needs to just continue to work from his strength in the Senate; that's who really makes the Laws anyway.
@obamamaniacs There is simply not enough room in a comment box to explain his positions on such things but in a nutshell.
On the Voter Rights Act
In essence Ron Paul voted no on the voting rights act of 1965 not because he was against equality which I think is more than obvious, but because it increased the federal governments power, they manipulated a public misconception of individual liberty and used it to grab power to the point of working for imminent domain which is now law.
Ron Paul is pro life but is such because he believes that individual liberties and rights belong to the fetus as well.
For the record whether a president is pro choice or not is of no consequence due to the preexisting judicial precedent known as Roe V Wade; in order to overturn it one would require a two thirds majority of congress and even then it would be thrown out under the same privacy clause.
I would disagree that conception is the moment of life.
@obamamaniacs I would say even if one disagrees with him on these issues and I do especially on the Abortion issue that if you understand the nature of the beast that namely being our corporations and politicians being in bed together it is by far a much greater threat to us all.
He gets my vote on the simple fact that his goal is to remove the private corporate influence from government which is the real culprit in all of the problems we face today and restore liberty.
@TheArcaneSanctum I think ppl believe this, but I don't see it happening. If he happened to get elected; he'd need more than just his own hand/will to change the structure that the monied classes have been putting in place for the last 70 or so years. He'd need the consent of Congress and the Supreme Court to even abolish the Federal Reserve. I doubt it's going to happen. They're bought and paid for.
@obamamaniacs I do not think most of us who support Dr. Paul expect a single man to be able to do all that he wants to do nor does Dr. Paul, the more realistic approach is to work together to lay the ground work so meaningful change can occur, much of the legislation that would be needed could in fact find bi-partisan support.
I would also point out that the recent occupy wall street protests can and will do a great deal towards changing the current status quo's mindset on these issues.
@TheArcaneSanctum We are sure hoping that OccupyWallstreet is going to lead us all in the right direction. It's imperative to our survival as a country.
One point that should be made is that "trusting" politicians is usually a bad idea. The political system is corrupt and the only way to fix it is to be as informed, connected, and relentless as the minority faction that took over this country 30 years ago. Power doesn't give up anything without a fight.
The level of trust between the people and government are at horrible levels and unfortunately the "few" politicians that are trust worthy are in the same bushel of bad apples.
Dennis Kucinich, even tho I don't agree with him on many things I believe is true to his word. Marcy Kaptur, I love the way she ate up former Secretary of Treasury Hank Paulson a few years back. Paul Ryan and Ted Poe are tipical big government warmongering Neoconservatives. Bernie Sanders is a self-proclaimed Socialist which I had respect for when he sponsered a bill with Ron Paul to Audit the Fed.
@obamamaniacs You have to look at the voting record. No one has been more consistent then Dr. Ron Paul. By all means please research his record. I also have a video featured on my channel from a former Obama supporter you may find interesting. This coming from me a "former" Hillary supporter. ;)
@danbowski40 but do you think he's the only one who can be trusted out of over 400 in Congress? There has to be more than one that can be trusted. no?
@obamamaniacs- What matters at the moment, is the ONE that needs to be trusted who is seekeing the presidency. If the dollar crashes because the Federal Reserve continues with another round of quantitative easing (QE3)- This will be the final nail in the coffin for the dollar. Which will lead to a hyper-inflationary deppression. Out of all the presidential candidates only Ron Paul has been warning of this threat in monetary
@danbowski40 This vid is asking about politicians. not necessarily Pres. candidates. Some other names mentioned have been: Bernie Sanders, Dennis Kucinich, Paul Ryan, Marcy Kaptur, Ted Poe. Do you know any of them?
One more thing. I doubt if it will happen, but it isn't too late for Obama to speak strongly about this issue. He's travelling through the Midwest to listen to people, but he should be talking strongly about our broken system of government. He's trying to project an air of goodwill and statesmenship, but it's fake. The public knows it's getting shafted and they want someone to tell the truth.
@dontchastop Do you think Americans really want to hear the truth, wasn't that tried already? I'm not so certain after trying to disucss issues with my friends, the majority of whom could care less about politics. I think most ppl just want to survive their little microcosm and enjoy it as much as possible before it's over. (sad)
@obamamaniacs When was the last time a President told us the truth? In my mind it was JFK and he was assassinated. Kennedy and Eisenhower spoke about the danger of militarism and secrecy, but they did it in a very cryptic way -- less so in Eisenhower's case. It looked like Obama was telling the truth when he ran for President, but he hasn't had the courage to stand up and tell the truth. Do you feel the same way as your friends...surviving and enjoying life while it lasts?
@dontchastop Well there is something in that. I'm interested in what goes on but not vested in the outcome. I feel that no matter what the regime change, I'll be doing just fine. If I have nothing and wander the Earth like the Buddha, I'm sure I'll experience happiness regardless.
A better question might be how can we elect a President and Congressman who will be honest with the American people. I've been researching American history for the last few years and it seems like our Government has been fighting against democracy for a very long time. I lived through the Cold War, and I've witnessed our government switching one "bogeyman" for the next. If we don't reverse this current trend of endless war I'm afraid that it will end very badly.
@dontchastop the World has been warring long before America came to be and I do believe that it will never ever stop. It's Big business and makes a lotta of money for a slew of industries.
I was thinking of that very question myself last night. All of them consistently call for peace. We need to scratch off Bernie Sanders because he isn't running. The other two would face powerful resistance because our economy, and our way of life, depends on the secure flow of oil from the Mideast. Our current foreign policy is promoting short term security at the expense of long term security.
BELIEVE AND TRUST NO POLITICIAN FROM THE PRESIDENT ON DOWN!!!! They are all LIARS, CHARLATANS and untrustworthy. None represent the masses or have the interest of the masses. America is NOT a DEMOCRACY it is a FASCIST STATE run by a Oligarchy of bankers and big business. The president is a PUPPET dangled before the people as a TOKEN/FRONTMAN/FOOL. Only VIOLENT overthrow will change the situation at this point.
@SAMSON12321 This country is so massive that the "people" can't even come together on what brand of toilet paper to buy. How would they come together to overthrow and reform the govt?
@obamamaniacs The reason for the lack of "movement" amongst people is they're comfortable. Food is in the fridge, air conditioner works, Mindless television still on...Bread and Circus. Once those things are gone, people will focus on their situation/reality and begin mentally wanting real change. Then they will realize change will only come through BRUTE FORCE and NOT VOTING BOOTHS. It may seem impossible, but the america is already on the verge of RIOT/CIVIL WAR
Also, the STRONGARM of the elite/government: Military, Troopers, cops are waking up to the reality that the government of america can give a DAMN ABOUT THEM. Without that strongarm working to bring their will into being, the government of america is POWERLESS. So the main goal is to educate that STRONGARM to the part they are playing in bringing this NWO into being. If they realize their wrong, they won't be willing to participate in the crime.
And another thing - if we put an excise (sin) tax on all drugs, and legalized things like...... say.......prostitution, and taxed it...... that could fund free health clinics without ANY kind of forced mandate at all. This is why I like libertarianism, they look at the scope of the big picture. This solution would be simple, and wouldn't require 20,000,000,000,000 pages of arbitrary, asinine law forcing you to buy insurance.
@noyouaintgettingit I seriously doubt the Christian Right would go for legalizing prostitution across the board (or drugs for that matter). They'd probably start bombing more baby clinics like they did those planned parenthood sites until they got their way.
@obamamaniacs First and foremost, My Apologies. I did not understand the entirety of what is was you were asking. Nor do i believe i'll be able to give a full accounting on why, i "feel".
I don't know why i Like that old fuck, and frankly i don't agree with all the shit he say's; i do know, that i do like him. Call it a gut feeling. I think he is an actual "Good Person", why?, because if i were to ask him if he lie's, i think he would reply- "I try not to".
@LynnDanielleTreasure I have very few and find it hard to do so. Mostly I've been searching things on the net when I'm interested and also following links from articles. What do you use? Have you found any surefire ways? I'm sure there are website that must make them available in full...
@obamamaniacs Someone mentioned the League of Women Voters as a source to check a candidate's voting record. I wonder if the National Urban League might also provide that information, too. Good discussion!
@obamamaniacs - The congressional record. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Center for Disease Control (for abortion stats), FBI (for crime stats), etc...
I prefer using the government's own numbers. That way, I've got the info straight from the horses mouth.
For example, according to the CDC, African American babies are aborted 3 to 1 over any other race. Planned Parenthood - over 78% of all clinics are in poor and ethnically diverse areas.
@obamamaniacs - You said in this video that you were looking for a reliable source of information. I was simply stating that in my opinion, the governments own statistics are the best place to get reliable numbers. And... I gave a couple of examples. Do you understand now?
@NAGGERNUTZ So you are saying that you believe the Govt. is going to tell you everything they are doing accurately? Hm, I would not believe everything that someone says about themselves. have to take it into account but also need other sources to ferret out the truth. Do you believe that the Govt lies sometimes and tells you what they think you should know?
@obamamaniacs - Wait... a big government liberal doesn't like government statistics because they might lie? What's wrong with this picture? Hey, I wouldn't like government statistics either if they proved me wrong. Now off to Media Matters to get the latest spin! ROFLMAO!
@obamamaniacs - Well dude, I just have this thing about hypocrisy, ya know? Please, I've watched your videos. I didn't put you in a small box, dude, you did. You want government to run your healthcare, but wait, you just said you didn't believe the government's own statistics? You want government to run massive entitlement programs, but the government doesn't get the statistics right. You said so. I'm thoroughly confused. Why don't you attempt to clear things up for me?
@NAGGERNUTZ Actually I never said anything about govt running massive entitlement programs and very little about them running healthcare. I think you are mixing me up with every other person that you watch here on youtube. I really don't need to "clear anything up for you"; I'm quite sure that you aren't really listening anyway.
@obamamaniacs - Oh, OK... if that's how you get out of intelligent debate, so be it. "Oh, I'm not going to tell you anything because you won't listen anyway". Classic.
@obamamaniacs There are only three politicians I trust right now: Ron Paul, Dennis Kusinich, and Bernie Sanders. I've been experiencing the same thing discussing politics with people who hold different political views. Thanks.
It doesn't matter kiddo. All politicians are not to be trusted. If ever we needed more regulation, it should be on the congress and the senate. Just as Obama won with the Anti-Obama vote, the generic Republican will win with the Anti-Obama vote in 2012. Just look at the economic indicators today. There isn't any thing that is an improvement, it is actually worse under Obama. Obama's record speaks for itself!! America can't afford 4 more Obama years. Generic Republican 2012!!!
@ladylordess "Obama won with the Anti-Obama vote"...did he now? lol. OK. You don't think anything is better than when Obama took ofc? where have you been. Many of the bailed companies were failing and ready to fire ppl when Obama took ofc. Now companies like GM and Chrysler are thriving and hiring (just to name two).
We were headed for a depression which now is considered a recession.
You need to check ppl's record before sayn they've done "nothing". Um, Osama?
@obamamaniacs I know that "things" are not better for America, as proven by the economic indicators. The bailed out auto companies are not profitable. They are repaying the loans with MORE borrowed money. THAT is not a success no matter how much double talk is used. Keep drinking the Koolaid, you will be thirsty in 2012. You need to actually LOOK at the economic indicators before you praise the failure of this admin!! I dare you to name one that has improved.
@ladylordess You can go to my blog and see 5o things Obama accomplished in his first year as president. I don't need to repeat them here. Also in my favorites is a video about 7 things passed that personally helped a PhD student. If you've been looking, you've probably seen the video before.
@obamamaniacs I didn't ask you what has Obama accomplished. I asked with economic indicators have improved under Obama. You can't answer that question because none of the economic indicators have improved. I will believe Obama has been successful when the economic indicators are higher than they were when Bush left. The only thing I can think of that are higher under Obama are spending, Gas Prices, and unemployment.
@ladylordess Actually unemployment is going down and hiring is going up in the past 6 months. Is that an indicator that you are looking for? It takes a lot of little things to get us back on track after the disaster that was created by the last admin, and you can't say that 1 man can change it all in a very short period of time. What are you doing to better the economy and improve our "economic indicators" besides complaining and placing blame?
@obamamaniacs heh I think I would have used a better examples. Just months after receiving bailout money Chrysler and GM were outsourcing our old jobs to China and Mexico. Of course they are flourishing were flipping the bill. As far Osama, I can't even begin to tell you how many laws, treaties, and human rights violations there were. There has been some issues raised about how the US went about "getting" Osama Internationally. All but one person killed/injured in the raid were unarmed.
@Mojo3192 We also have the "Humanitarian Intervention" in Libya. Obama never got congressional approval to go to war, His 60 days has lapsed for being at war without congressional approval that was a war power only intended to be used when the US was under direct threat under the War Powers Act. The Libya's latest numbers say NATO has killed an estimated 718 civilians so far in Libya by dropping their Humanitarian bomb threw out the region.
@Mojo3192 There are so many things we don't understand about this. I bet if this were an act done by a Republican Pres; the Repubs would be praising it to high heaven and calling him an "effective leader" and "decisive defender of liberty". The point of this video is, "Who Do You Trust"? Are you trusting the media to tell you the full story, or one party's spin on what's really happening?
I hope you know most of this is done with full knowledge and support of our elected officials.
@obamamaniacs Yes, and that's what bothers me the most. While I don't like Fox coverage much we were talking about Kucinich, as well as a few other politicians. This watch?v=sSBdRVH3AUI is an interview that was done with Paul and Kucinich they are on opposite ends of the political spectrum but have come together on the Libyan war. I would vote for either of these men, based on their principle alone. They stand up for whats they think is right and in the best interest of the American people.
@Mojo3192 So if they both think this is good for the "American people" how could someone possibly blame Obama for doing what's considered right by most?
@obamamaniacs It doesn't matter what most of the people think when a politician is breaking the law. He broke the law going into Libya without Congressional Approval. He broke the law again by not appealing to congress and getting approval for the Libyan war within 90 days. Time we tell what laws and treaties were broken with Osama, there are people, and countries pursuing this, not because they like Osama, but because we must follow the law if we are to be any better than he was.
@Mojo3192 I'm not sure if you really think that we have to be constrained in order to go in and take out someone who killed thousands of innocent people and was probably paying off the Pakistani govt... or do you?
@Mojo3192 Yes, there's always problems, but one thing is for sure; no one else was really even trying to find Osama. I'm sure Bush had plenty of Osama money in his pocket and Pakistan was surely being supported by Al Qaida to keep Osama safe from harm. How in the World is the man living right next to the military for 5 years and they don't know he's there? Balderdash!
Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and perhaps Marcy Kaptur are a few that I think work for the people. I like many of Ted Poe's speeches, but don't know enough about him to say I trust him.
@Psycho1701G It's really hard. You get to liking someone and then you find all kinds of ways they've voted that you don't agree with or they encounter some type of scandal. It's really a dirty business, eh
@obamamaniacs I usually end up not wanting any of them to be running the government and get mad about how screwed up it really is. And voting for me usually ends up being choosing between pile of crap 1 or slightly smaller pile of crap 2.
lately im kinda 2nd guessing the trust in America and the world in general , especially with so much different issues arising. its hard to trust anyone in from government or political positions.
@desireundead Do we have to trust them in order to have them govern us? or do we have to vigilant and watch everything they do and vote them out when they get on the wrong track?
@obamamaniacs Take a look at Ron Paul's voting recored. No Matter what president, or his affiliation, for the past 30 years he as been consistent. I know he is a "republican," but in name only. He is a true classical liberal who believes in limited government.
lately im kinda 2nd guessing the trust in America and the world in general , especially with so much different issues arising. its hard to trust anyone in from government or political positions.
I prefer when you sing but my father explained me a little about your meenings....very very intresting.....First he explains me that USA is not really a democratie cause you have only 2 parties for such a big big country......in France we have 6 or 7 political parties....and he says there are only 2 trouth One for the reach people and an other one for the poor....when all the poor people or middle class in a country will fght together everything should be all right.....RAFFI(and my father)
yes I do slap a cease and desist order on all govt agencies, on the presiden, stop using gasoline, stop traveling, dent their pockets, make it a crime to profit in oil by gas hikes there are many ways to stop govt criminology
Ron Paul has never changed his position on Ending wars (occupations and the drug war), ending the IRS/FED and stabling monetary policies without a fiat money system. Ron Paul will let you realise that you don't need to trust him since he isn't giving himself powers over us but empowering us to do the right thing like we were meant to do.
@obamamaniacs Consistent record of position in the funny money fiat currency US system that is draining us instead of helping us - his position has not wavered but the times have towards solidifying the nature and reason of his position. In other words he is the only one in the game that cares about our liberties, freedoms and sound money.
@obamamaniacs I agree but to a point - any politicians that is for raising the debt ceiling is a money junky trying to get rich on the job. Any politican that wants to end the fed funny money game is all for freedom and sound justice of the american way - not the american physchotic war killing machine lead and fed by all the corporate interests that are destroying thie great nation under god. stop all this noise, het real. save the earth
@obamamaniacs you could call these terrorist govt officials citizens I guess... but not really... oh wait priveledged citizens to murder, steal, poison and anything else they decide is right as wrong but right in their insane minds
@obamamaniacs because we are dociled by poisons in our foods, fear, poisons in our water, in our air,to our minds.our children are brainwashed into believing voting works, govt is good, jobs sto;en purposely for more kids having to join military, take govt jobs, keep people poor, sick, our elders, our citizens get lied to every day, media ploys to make you think they are doing something,a lot of people don't vote anymore, some people just don't get it, they don't care, they don't read, they don't listen
@obamamaniacs cease order on all govt activity, honest law abiding citizens not paid by govt to go in,stop all programs of war, haarp, mind control, remove the patriot act, dissolve homeland security, cia, fbi, all chemicals in foods, stop foreign everything, stop travelling, get rid of the tsa, hire private people for screening, too criminal from local, state, federal, get rid of corruption breeding corruption, church pew sheep, educate, illegals no more(too much money made on these people)a list a mile long...
@MissEVitale most of this sounds really unrealistic and definitely not the way to improve things... stop traveling? cease all govt activity? stop foreign everything? come on. You really can't believe this is the way to improve our system of governance???
@obamamaniacs GWB was born in US ,he was a bad president i admit ,but he did not mention that he would bring changes like barry soetorro ,the constitution mention clearly that a president candidate MUST BE BORN IN USA soil ,BARRY SOETORRO was not.GWB invade irak and afghanistan, but BARRY SOETORRO has invade libya with out asking congress .and he is about to get in syria .doing undeclare wars is unconstitutionel ,it is not because bush did bad that BARRY SOTORRO must do the same.
@featherian Um, Obama was born in Hawaii. Isn't that US? He has not 'invaded' anyone. We've been part of a UN mission, and though I don't agree with it; it's not grounds for impeachment. Even if he went up for impeachment, I really don't think there'd be enough votes. This man has inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression, 2 wars, and corporations gone wild. Damn, give him a bit of a break and let him try to get the job done.
@obamamaniacs obama born in US? bah ,your just another black dreamer of a black president, you just beleiving yourself ,how is it possible that barry soetorro as spend millions in court, instead of showing his birth certificat?U.N.resolution? but before engaging our troops, should he speak to congress first? sure a no fly zone transformed in a no drive zone, you want something very constructive for USA? impeach BARRY SOETORRO.and get RON PAUL instead .until then enjoy the black hitler
@featherian You seem to have some serious issues with black people, I see. Did you call for the impeachment of GWB also? Will you prosecute him for War Crimes?
@obamamaniacs well i dont live in the past ,and just with your answer ,its shows us that you have been blind by colors .in fact you propably vote for obama cause he was black ,from kenya .but thats ok .now could you show me wich issues with and S so that means i got more then one about colors?.btw my wife is black so i dont see your point, also i dont care about colors i care about the constitution and BARRY SOETORRO is unconstitutional president ,HE HIS A FRAUD !! DOT
@featherian now that Obama has released his long form birth certificate, are you willing to agree that he was born here in the U. S.? It is really such a shame that ppl would keep calling for proof. You think a black man could get elected dog catcher in this deeply divided country if the powers that be REALLY thought he was not born here?
@obamamaniacs stop bringing JFK in the BARRY SOETORRO case ,because JFK was the last real president in USA ,and SOETORRO is far but far from being to the level of JFK .the only thing i wish BARRY SOETORRO get in common with JFK is the way he left the president position in 1963 on a 22 november.
@featherian and I really hope some CIA sees that comment and knocks on your door. Would I ever wish death on anyone? Remember that those things come back to haunt you. Never wish something negative for someone cause those things tend to boomerang.
@obamamaniacs well i hope they will get paid to run around the north america about comment made on YT and if i have to die for my opinion i will. and if they come to kill me il be happy to have this in common with JFK.we all know oswall was innocent ,only sleepers beleive the goverment version .but that again is probably to deep for you ,hehe dreamers
@obamamaniacs just by answering a sheep like you a demean my self but ,its all good .ITS A SHEEP CHANNEL for DREAMERS LOL no more time to waste on a SHEEP channel ... see ya at your lost of election 2012. RON PAUL !!! RON PAUL !!! ron paul!! RON PAUL!!!
@featherian It's funny how a Ron Paul supporter can call someone a Dreamer and mean it in a derogatory fashion. Do you really think Ron Paul could ever get elected Pres in this country? Don't you think you're dreaming (which would make you a dreamer)?
"If we don't dare to dream then we don't dare to Live"
@obamamaniacs if america can elect a kenyan muslim in power they can elect a guy that will do what he says like RON PAUL . impeach OBAMA ,end the fed ,call back the troops from our 700 bases .anyway keep dreaming till BARRY SOTOERO bankcrupt you all .
“ read this and then tell you who said it. ‘The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.’ Now that was Barack Obama who said that on December the 20, 2007. We’ve got to be very sure here that we follow the Constitution, and president Obama didn’t do that.”
@obamamaniacs I first learned about him in '08 when he introduced his 'A Roadmap for America's Future' which outlined the conservative point of view for healthcare reform in contrast to obamacare, from there I've followed him periodically, agreed in generality with his voting record, and have found him to be a hardline center center right that has no problem calling out Rs and Ds when they don't follow through with what they promise, are lying, or pushing ideology over practicality and facts
@obamamaniacs That is my thing I see no politicians fighting for the middle class. We are to all become poor or rich fuck america. They are are for the wealthy elite. People thing ending labor unions will create jobs. It will create shit jobs with welfare like pay. Welcome to slavery all over again. Save your money move to mexico you can own any gun you want and fight people to stay away from your property even the government. I could save for five years and live the rest of my life in Mexico.
@breeeanna14 I don't mind you commenting as much as you'd like. I think part of the problem is that too many of us DO believe that we can't affect change in the status quo. There are many things I like about Obama and you can follow the link to my blog to read most of them.
Do I think he's different? Yes, I do. Why? partially because he's come up from the bottom and has worked in his life for the common everyday people of Chicago. He could have taken a corp law position but didnt. He cares.
@breeeanna14 So what did you want Obama to do? Do you think we have the resources to take out a dictator in a sovereign country? Ppl complain that the U.S. is in everybody's business and then they complain when you U.S. stays out of their problems. You can't have it both ways.
Egypt is a sovereign country. I'm Happy that you have changed your circumstances (if you are still there), but it's not up to US to do it for you. We need to work on getn our house in order.
@Mojo3192 I guess you can't refute the things I just said. That's good cause they are all on record. I will give you that point. I'm not sure why he extended the Patriot Act; but I suppose we will find out in the future. or not. The thing is that you said he "sold us out" when he has been constantly working on implementing the exact things that he promised in his platform. Will he get everything he said he would? probably not. BUT he has been working toward it on every front & often very quietly
@obamamaniacs I didn't say "sold us out" in my post, but it seems like it. Obama also called for indefinite detention for future crimes that haven't even been committed, that's not right either. Search for "Obama proposes detention for Pre-Crime" here on youtube and watch the report.
@Mojo3192 your exact quote you can read at the top of this exchange, "...isn't going to sell us out when he gets into office like obama did..." You typed it if you didnt literally say it.
We've gotten way off topic of what this video is about. Who do you believe in was the question. I have followed a few links by ppl and they generally aren't saying what the ppl have stated they are saying. I think we need more comprehension classes in US schools.
@obamamaniacs I didn't type it xWren did. I'm not responsible for what he says. All I said is that part of what Obama campaigned on was ending the Patriot Act, ending warrantless wiretapping, and other abuses that are constitutionally illegal. But instead since getting into office he flipped and instead of ending it, and is calling for indefinite detention without a crime, just suspicion. If anyone other than Obama had said what he did, people would be marching in the streets.
@Mojo3192 So out of 50 promises made and kept, you think 1 should bring him down? really? and actually, since there's no ruling of the Constitutionality of the Patriot Act then how can you say it's Unconstitutional? I'm so tired of hearing how everything this administration does is supposedly Unconstitutional especially with the POTUS is/was a Constitutional Law Professor at Harvard. it's really getting old.
@obamamaniacs One? I have a harder time thinking of promises kept. The health care he passed wasn't what he campaigned on it was Hillary's 2008 plan. GITMO he said would be closed immediately, he has since pushed those dates back time and time again. Said He would end Patriot Act, but extended it. Said he would forbid companies in bankruptcy from giving executives bonuses, hasn't happened. Reduce the deficit by $400 billion, when to date the deficit has only been getting worse.
@Mojo3192 He passed UHC which has been attempted by many previous POTUS and they all failed, Gitmo is in process but ppl are fighting him on where to put the detainees and even where to try them. Companies in bankruptcy couldn't give away bonuses; they paid back their stimulus money in order to get out from under those regulations. reducing the deficit is gonna take a whole lot of work my friend and a whole lot of cooperation.
I trust no politician but Jesus Christ. As a disciple of Christ, I refuse to get involved with politics and voting. I separate myself from human government to follow Him. I don't do governmental fundamentalist christendom stuff except preaching the gospel.

I believe in Ron Paul and his voting record speaks for itself. The Republicans try to write him off as this zany old man with radical ideas. That alone should tell you all you need to know. The fact that his own party is afraid to give him a spotlight.
marvenp 4 months ago
@marvenp I don't understand why ppl say that they don't give him the spotlight; he's run for the nomination several times and run for Pres. once already. I think he's gotten many chances to win over the American voters, but it just hasn't happened for him. Maybe he needs to just continue to work from his strength in the Senate; that's who really makes the Laws anyway.

Ron Paul, he is the only one who has spoken the truth constantly.
And he just won the value voters straw poll in DC.

TheArcaneSanctum 5 months ago
@TheArcaneSanctum sounds too good to be true. what does he think about abortion and voting rights?
obamamaniacs 5 months ago
@obamamaniacs There is simply not enough room in a comment box to explain his positions on such things but in a nutshell.
On the Voter Rights Act
In essence Ron Paul voted no on the voting rights act of 1965 not because he was against equality which I think is more than obvious, but because it increased the federal governments power, they manipulated a public misconception of individual liberty and used it to grab power to the point of working for imminent domain which is now law.
TheArcaneSanctum 5 months ago
@obamamaniacs On Abortion,
Ron Paul is pro life but is such because he believes that individual liberties and rights belong to the fetus as well.
For the record whether a president is pro choice or not is of no consequence due to the preexisting judicial precedent known as Roe V Wade; in order to overturn it one would require a two thirds majority of congress and even then it would be thrown out under the same privacy clause.
I would disagree that conception is the moment of life.
TheArcaneSanctum 5 months ago
@obamamaniacs I would say even if one disagrees with him on these issues and I do especially on the Abortion issue that if you understand the nature of the beast that namely being our corporations and politicians being in bed together it is by far a much greater threat to us all.
He gets my vote on the simple fact that his goal is to remove the private corporate influence from government which is the real culprit in all of the problems we face today and restore liberty.
TheArcaneSanctum 5 months ago
@TheArcaneSanctum I think ppl believe this, but I don't see it happening. If he happened to get elected; he'd need more than just his own hand/will to change the structure that the monied classes have been putting in place for the last 70 or so years. He'd need the consent of Congress and the Supreme Court to even abolish the Federal Reserve. I doubt it's going to happen. They're bought and paid for.
obamamaniacs 5 months ago

Power doesn't give up anything without a fight.
dontchastop 6 months ago
The level of trust between the people and government are at horrible levels and unfortunately the "few" politicians that are trust worthy are in the same bushel of bad apples.
danbowski40 6 months ago
Kusinich, Kaptur.
danbowski40 6 months ago
@danbowski40 So if I named a few more ppl you might find a few more who you think are trustworthy?
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
Dennis Kucinich, even tho I don't agree with him on many things I believe is true to his word. Marcy Kaptur, I love the way she ate up former Secretary of Treasury Hank Paulson a few years back. Paul Ryan and Ted Poe are tipical big government warmongering Neoconservatives. Bernie Sanders is a self-proclaimed Socialist which I had respect for when he sponsered a bill with Ron Paul to Audit the Fed.
danbowski40 6 months ago
@danbowski40 so are any of them worthy of trust as politicians or only Ron Paul?
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
There is only ONE politician that can be trusted! Dr. RON PAUL!
danbowski40 6 months ago
@danbowski40 Come on. There has to be more than 1. Maybe you just don't know any others?
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
@obamamaniacs You have to look at the voting record. No one has been more consistent then Dr. Ron Paul. By all means please research his record. I also have a video featured on my channel from a former Obama supporter you may find interesting. This coming from me a "former" Hillary supporter. ;)
danbowski40 6 months ago
@danbowski40 but do you think he's the only one who can be trusted out of over 400 in Congress? There has to be more than one that can be trusted. no?
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
@obamamaniacs- What matters at the moment, is the ONE that needs to be trusted who is seekeing the presidency. If the dollar crashes because the Federal Reserve continues with another round of quantitative easing (QE3)- This will be the final nail in the coffin for the dollar. Which will lead to a hyper-inflationary deppression. Out of all the presidential candidates only Ron Paul has been warning of this threat in monetary
policy for the last 30 years.
danbowski40 6 months ago
@danbowski40 and it hasn't happened yet. just sayn.
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
@danbowski40 This vid is asking about politicians. not necessarily Pres. candidates. Some other names mentioned have been: Bernie Sanders, Dennis Kucinich, Paul Ryan, Marcy Kaptur, Ted Poe. Do you know any of them?
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
One more thing. I doubt if it will happen, but it isn't too late for Obama to speak strongly about this issue. He's travelling through the Midwest to listen to people, but he should be talking strongly about our broken system of government. He's trying to project an air of goodwill and statesmenship, but it's fake. The public knows it's getting shafted and they want someone to tell the truth.
dontchastop 6 months ago
@dontchastop Do you think Americans really want to hear the truth, wasn't that tried already? I'm not so certain after trying to disucss issues with my friends, the majority of whom could care less about politics. I think most ppl just want to survive their little microcosm and enjoy it as much as possible before it's over. (sad)
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
@obamamaniacs When was the last time a President told us the truth? In my mind it was JFK and he was assassinated. Kennedy and Eisenhower spoke about the danger of militarism and secrecy, but they did it in a very cryptic way -- less so in Eisenhower's case. It looked like Obama was telling the truth when he ran for President, but he hasn't had the courage to stand up and tell the truth. Do you feel the same way as your friends...surviving and enjoying life while it lasts?
dontchastop 6 months ago
@dontchastop Well there is something in that. I'm interested in what goes on but not vested in the outcome. I feel that no matter what the regime change, I'll be doing just fine. If I have nothing and wander the Earth like the Buddha, I'm sure I'll experience happiness regardless.
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
A better question might be how can we elect a President and Congressman who will be honest with the American people. I've been researching American history for the last few years and it seems like our Government has been fighting against democracy for a very long time. I lived through the Cold War, and I've witnessed our government switching one "bogeyman" for the next. If we don't reverse this current trend of endless war I'm afraid that it will end very badly.
dontchastop 6 months ago
@dontchastop the World has been warring long before America came to be and I do believe that it will never ever stop. It's Big business and makes a lotta of money for a slew of industries.
obamamaniacs 6 months ago
I was thinking of that very question myself last night. All of them consistently call for peace. We need to scratch off Bernie Sanders because he isn't running. The other two would face powerful resistance because our economy, and our way of life, depends on the secure flow of oil from the Mideast. Our current foreign policy is promoting short term security at the expense of long term security.

@SAMSON12321 This country is so massive that the "people" can't even come together on what brand of toilet paper to buy. How would they come together to overthrow and reform the govt?
obamamaniacs 7 months ago

This solution would be simple, and wouldn't require 20,000,000,000,000 pages of arbitrary, asinine law forcing you to buy insurance.
noyouaintgettingit 8 months ago
@noyouaintgettingit I seriously doubt the Christian Right would go for legalizing prostitution across the board (or drugs for that matter). They'd probably start bombing more baby clinics like they did those planned parenthood sites until they got their way.

@LynnDanielleTreasure I have very few and find it hard to do so. Mostly I've been searching things on the net when I'm interested and also following links from articles. What do you use? Have you found any surefire ways? I'm sure there are website that must make them available in full...
obamamaniacs 8 months ago

obamamaniacs 8 months ago
@obamamaniacs - The congressional record. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Center for Disease Control (for abortion stats), FBI (for crime stats), etc...
I prefer using the government's own numbers. That way, I've got the info straight from the horses mouth.
For example, according to the CDC, African American babies are aborted 3 to 1 over any other race. Planned Parenthood - over 78% of all clinics are in poor and ethnically diverse areas.
NAGGERNUTZ 7 months ago
@NAGGERNUTZ and what's your point, if you have one?
obamamaniacs 7 months ago
@obamamaniacs - You said in this video that you were looking for a reliable source of information. I was simply stating that in my opinion, the governments own statistics are the best place to get reliable numbers. And... I gave a couple of examples. Do you understand now?
NAGGERNUTZ 7 months ago
@NAGGERNUTZ So you are saying that you believe the Govt. is going to tell you everything they are doing accurately? Hm, I would not believe everything that someone says about themselves. have to take it into account but also need other sources to ferret out the truth. Do you believe that the Govt lies sometimes and tells you what they think you should know?
obamamaniacs 7 months ago
@obamamaniacs - Wait... a big government liberal doesn't like government statistics because they might lie? What's wrong with this picture? Hey, I wouldn't like government statistics either if they proved me wrong. Now off to Media Matters to get the latest spin! ROFLMAO!
NAGGERNUTZ 7 months ago
@NAGGERNUTZ Isn't it funny how someone who doesn't know you can just label you and put you in a small box? Do you enjoy when that happens?
obamamaniacs 7 months ago
@obamamaniacs - Well dude, I just have this thing about hypocrisy, ya know? Please, I've watched your videos. I didn't put you in a small box, dude, you did. You want government to run your healthcare, but wait, you just said you didn't believe the government's own statistics? You want government to run massive entitlement programs, but the government doesn't get the statistics right. You said so. I'm thoroughly confused. Why don't you attempt to clear things up for me?
NAGGERNUTZ 7 months ago
@NAGGERNUTZ Actually I never said anything about govt running massive entitlement programs and very little about them running healthcare. I think you are mixing me up with every other person that you watch here on youtube. I really don't need to "clear anything up for you"; I'm quite sure that you aren't really listening anyway.

Generic Republican 2012!!!
ladylordess 9 months ago
@ladylordess "Obama won with the Anti-Obama vote"...did he now? lol. OK. You don't think anything is better than when Obama took ofc? where have you been. Many of the bailed companies were failing and ready to fire ppl when Obama took ofc. Now companies like GM and Chrysler are thriving and hiring (just to name two).
We were headed for a depression which now is considered a recession.
You need to check ppl's record before sayn they've done "nothing". Um, Osama?
obamamaniacs 9 months ago
@obamamaniacs I know that "things" are not better for America, as proven by the economic indicators. The bailed out auto companies are not profitable. They are repaying the loans with MORE borrowed money. THAT is not a success no matter how much double talk is used. Keep drinking the Koolaid, you will be thirsty in 2012. You need to actually LOOK at the economic indicators before you praise the failure of this admin!! I dare you to name one that has improved.
ladylordess 9 months ago
@ladylordess You can go to my blog and see 5o things Obama accomplished in his first year as president. I don't need to repeat them here. Also in my favorites is a video about 7 things passed that personally helped a PhD student. If you've been looking, you've probably seen the video before.
obamamaniacs 9 months ago
@obamamaniacs I didn't ask you what has Obama accomplished. I asked with economic indicators have improved under Obama. You can't answer that question because none of the economic indicators have improved. I will believe Obama has been successful when the economic indicators are higher than they were when Bush left. The only thing I can think of that are higher under Obama are spending, Gas Prices, and unemployment.
ladylordess 9 months ago
@ladylordess Actually unemployment is going down and hiring is going up in the past 6 months. Is that an indicator that you are looking for? It takes a lot of little things to get us back on track after the disaster that was created by the last admin, and you can't say that 1 man can change it all in a very short period of time. What are you doing to better the economy and improve our "economic indicators" besides complaining and placing blame?
obamamaniacs 9 months ago
@obamamaniacs heh I think I would have used a better examples. Just months after receiving bailout money Chrysler and GM were outsourcing our old jobs to China and Mexico. Of course they are flourishing were flipping the bill. As far Osama, I can't even begin to tell you how many laws, treaties, and human rights violations there were. There has been some issues raised about how the US went about "getting" Osama Internationally. All but one person killed/injured in the raid were unarmed.
Mojo3192 9 months ago
@Mojo3192 We also have the "Humanitarian Intervention" in Libya. Obama never got congressional approval to go to war, His 60 days has lapsed for being at war without congressional approval that was a war power only intended to be used when the US was under direct threat under the War Powers Act. The Libya's latest numbers say NATO has killed an estimated 718 civilians so far in Libya by dropping their Humanitarian bomb threw out the region.
Mojo3192 9 months ago
@Mojo3192 There are so many things we don't understand about this. I bet if this were an act done by a Republican Pres; the Repubs would be praising it to high heaven and calling him an "effective leader" and "decisive defender of liberty". The point of this video is, "Who Do You Trust"? Are you trusting the media to tell you the full story, or one party's spin on what's really happening?
I hope you know most of this is done with full knowledge and support of our elected officials.
obamamaniacs 9 months ago
@obamamaniacs Yes, and that's what bothers me the most. While I don't like Fox coverage much we were talking about Kucinich, as well as a few other politicians. This watch?v=sSBdRVH3AUI is an interview that was done with Paul and Kucinich they are on opposite ends of the political spectrum but have come together on the Libyan war. I would vote for either of these men, based on their principle alone. They stand up for whats they think is right and in the best interest of the American people.
Mojo3192 9 months ago
@Mojo3192 So if they both think this is good for the "American people" how could someone possibly blame Obama for doing what's considered right by most?
obamamaniacs 9 months ago
@obamamaniacs It doesn't matter what most of the people think when a politician is breaking the law. He broke the law going into Libya without Congressional Approval. He broke the law again by not appealing to congress and getting approval for the Libyan war within 90 days. Time we tell what laws and treaties were broken with Osama, there are people, and countries pursuing this, not because they like Osama, but because we must follow the law if we are to be any better than he was.
Mojo3192 9 months ago
@Mojo3192 I'm not sure if you really think that we have to be constrained in order to go in and take out someone who killed thousands of innocent people and was probably paying off the Pakistani govt... or do you?
obamamaniacs 9 months ago
@Mojo3192 Yes, there's always problems, but one thing is for sure; no one else was really even trying to find Osama. I'm sure Bush had plenty of Osama money in his pocket and Pakistan was surely being supported by Al Qaida to keep Osama safe from harm. How in the World is the man living right next to the military for 5 years and they don't know he's there? Balderdash!

@obamamaniacs GWB was born in US ,he was a bad president i admit ,but he did not mention that he would bring changes like barry soetorro ,the constitution mention clearly that a president candidate MUST BE BORN IN USA soil ,BARRY SOETORRO was not.GWB invade irak and afghanistan, but BARRY SOETORRO has invade libya with out asking congress .and he is about to get in syria .doing undeclare wars is unconstitutionel ,it is not because bush did bad that BARRY SOTORRO must do the same.
impeach him
featherian 11 months ago
@featherian Um, Obama was born in Hawaii. Isn't that US? He has not 'invaded' anyone. We've been part of a UN mission, and though I don't agree with it; it's not grounds for impeachment. Even if he went up for impeachment, I really don't think there'd be enough votes. This man has inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression, 2 wars, and corporations gone wild. Damn, give him a bit of a break and let him try to get the job done.
Add something constructive to the mix.

@obamamaniacs obama born in US? bah ,your just another black dreamer of a black president, you just beleiving yourself ,how is it possible that barry soetorro as spend millions in court, instead of showing his birth certificat?U.N.resolution? but before engaging our troops, should he speak to congress first? sure a no fly zone transformed in a no drive zone, you want something very constructive for USA? impeach BARRY SOETORRO.and get RON PAUL instead .until then enjoy the black hitler
featherian 11 months ago
@featherian You seem to have some serious issues with black people, I see. Did you call for the impeachment of GWB also? Will you prosecute him for War Crimes?
obamamaniacs 11 months ago
@obamamaniacs well i dont live in the past ,and just with your answer ,its shows us that you have been blind by colors .in fact you propably vote for obama cause he was black ,from kenya .but thats ok .now could you show me wich issues with and S so that means i got more then one about colors?.btw my wife is black so i dont see your point, also i dont care about colors i care about the constitution and BARRY SOETORRO is unconstitutional president ,HE HIS A FRAUD !! DOT

@featherian If you'd really like to know I have a video about it on this channel.
obamamaniacs 11 months ago
@featherian now that Obama has released his long form birth certificate, are you willing to agree that he was born here in the U. S.? It is really such a shame that ppl would keep calling for proof. You think a black man could get elected dog catcher in this deeply divided country if the powers that be REALLY thought he was not born here?

@1Guitarslayer oh. ho ho haha. We should all hope that it's more like JFK or LBJ
obamamaniacs 11 months ago
@obamamaniacs stop bringing JFK in the BARRY SOETORRO case ,because JFK was the last real president in USA ,and SOETORRO is far but far from being to the level of JFK .the only thing i wish BARRY SOETORRO get in common with JFK is the way he left the president position in 1963 on a 22 november.

@featherian and I really hope some CIA sees that comment and knocks on your door. Would I ever wish death on anyone? Remember that those things come back to haunt you. Never wish something negative for someone cause those things tend to boomerang.
obamamaniacs 11 months ago
@obamamaniacs well i hope they will get paid to run around the north america about comment made on YT and if i have to die for my opinion i will. and if they come to kill me il be happy to have this in common with JFK.we all know oswall was innocent ,only sleepers beleive the goverment version .but that again is probably to deep for you ,hehe dreamers

featherian 11 months ago

@LuLuLeLoupGarou why?
obamamaniacs 1 year ago
@obamamaniacs I first learned about him in '08 when he introduced his 'A Roadmap for America's Future' which outlined the conservative point of view for healthcare reform in contrast to obamacare, from there I've followed him periodically, agreed in generality with his voting record, and have found him to be a hardline center center right that has no problem calling out Rs and Ds when they don't follow through with what they promise, are lying, or pushing ideology over practicality and facts

@carnypimp Are there really ppl fighting for the middle class or just saying so while they kowtow to the wealthy elite?
obamamaniacs 1 year ago
@obamamaniacs That is my thing I see no politicians fighting for the middle class. We are to all become poor or rich fuck america. They are are for the wealthy elite. People thing ending labor unions will create jobs. It will create shit jobs with welfare like pay. Welcome to slavery all over again. Save your money move to mexico you can own any gun you want and fight people to stay away from your property even the government. I could save for five years and live the rest of my life in Mexico.

@xMikePADDLEx94 maybe they can't. I guess that's why we have to be vigilant and watch em like a hawk and vote them out when they get too comfortable.

@obamamaniacs yea political office shouldnt be a career
xMikePADDLEx94 1 year ago
@breeeanna14 I don't mind you commenting as much as you'd like. I think part of the problem is that too many of us DO believe that we can't affect change in the status quo. There are many things I like about Obama and you can follow the link to my blog to read most of them.
Do I think he's different? Yes, I do. Why? partially because he's come up from the bottom and has worked in his life for the common everyday people of Chicago. He could have taken a corp law position but didnt. He cares.
obamamaniacs 1 year ago
@breeeanna14 So what did you want Obama to do? Do you think we have the resources to take out a dictator in a sovereign country? Ppl complain that the U.S. is in everybody's business and then they complain when you U.S. stays out of their problems. You can't have it both ways.
Egypt is a sovereign country. I'm Happy that you have changed your circumstances (if you are still there), but it's not up to US to do it for you. We need to work on getn our house in order.

@xWren Also instead of ending the Patriot act like he said he would do, Obama extended it.
Mojo3192 1 year ago
@Mojo3192 I guess you can't refute the things I just said. That's good cause they are all on record. I will give you that point. I'm not sure why he extended the Patriot Act; but I suppose we will find out in the future. or not. The thing is that you said he "sold us out" when he has been constantly working on implementing the exact things that he promised in his platform. Will he get everything he said he would? probably not. BUT he has been working toward it on every front & often very quietly
obamamaniacs 1 year ago
@obamamaniacs I didn't say "sold us out" in my post, but it seems like it. Obama also called for indefinite detention for future crimes that haven't even been committed, that's not right either. Search for "Obama proposes detention for Pre-Crime" here on youtube and watch the report.
Mojo3192 1 year ago
@Mojo3192 your exact quote you can read at the top of this exchange, "...isn't going to sell us out when he gets into office like obama did..." You typed it if you didnt literally say it.
We've gotten way off topic of what this video is about. Who do you believe in was the question. I have followed a few links by ppl and they generally aren't saying what the ppl have stated they are saying. I think we need more comprehension classes in US schools.
obamamaniacs 1 year ago
@obamamaniacs I didn't type it xWren did. I'm not responsible for what he says. All I said is that part of what Obama campaigned on was ending the Patriot Act, ending warrantless wiretapping, and other abuses that are constitutionally illegal. But instead since getting into office he flipped and instead of ending it, and is calling for indefinite detention without a crime, just suspicion. If anyone other than Obama had said what he did, people would be marching in the streets.
Mojo3192 1 year ago
@Mojo3192 "But instead since getting into office he flipped and instead of ending it" -he extended it.
Sorry left off the end of my sentence.
Mojo3192 1 year ago
@Mojo3192 So out of 50 promises made and kept, you think 1 should bring him down? really? and actually, since there's no ruling of the Constitutionality of the Patriot Act then how can you say it's Unconstitutional? I'm so tired of hearing how everything this administration does is supposedly Unconstitutional especially with the POTUS is/was a Constitutional Law Professor at Harvard. it's really getting old.
obamamaniacs 1 year ago
@obamamaniacs One? I have a harder time thinking of promises kept. The health care he passed wasn't what he campaigned on it was Hillary's 2008 plan. GITMO he said would be closed immediately, he has since pushed those dates back time and time again. Said He would end Patriot Act, but extended it. Said he would forbid companies in bankruptcy from giving executives bonuses, hasn't happened. Reduce the deficit by $400 billion, when to date the deficit has only been getting worse.
Mojo3192 1 year ago
@Mojo3192 He passed UHC which has been attempted by many previous POTUS and they all failed, Gitmo is in process but ppl are fighting him on where to put the detainees and even where to try them. Companies in bankruptcy couldn't give away bonuses; they paid back their stimulus money in order to get out from under those regulations. reducing the deficit is gonna take a whole lot of work my friend and a whole lot of cooperation.
