Wanted to add that all weave hair can be beautiful whether virgin or not, but a person wearing it has to know what to use, what not to use and take care of their own hair undernearth to keep the style smooth. Nothing worse than a raggedy looking weave (unless it's a ratty looking wig, LOL!)...

From what I understand of weaving:

Human Hair is 'fallen' (or shed) hair and is usually gathered from Asian sources

Yaki Hair is processed (with a silicone dip for shine and strength) and can't be colored

Remy Hair is processed as well, but is a step up in terms of quality compared to Yaki

Virgin Hair has all cuticles in a unidierctional pattern and has not been processed at all; once virgin hair is processed with dyes or whatever it's obviously no longer 'virgin'

i got the hair...two packs of straight...18-20 i think. it was pretty good, no shedding, very little tangling, just unbelievably thin, like i needed at least three packs. it was so thin on the ends it looked kind of retarded. dont get straight, the wavy is thicker and the longer you get, the thinner it is.
