@ECWnWWF Yeah, the ship is down there. But its different. Its a 300 years old WOODEN ship. This absolutely destroyed. Some fishingboat are fishing selfish. So, these ships are dredge the bottom... This destroy the wooden ship. etc.
The site is approximately 1.4 miles South of Beaufort Inlet, NC. The wreck is protected by state law, Coast Guard & law enforcement surveillance and radar. The best way to see artifacts from the wreck is to visit the NC Maritime Museum in Beaufort.
its acctually if your ever in beaufort NC its right off the shore of the bigger island i think shackleford!( must visit) and its about a couple of ways away from that whenver you go to beaufort they take trip out to the spot were it sank
Was this discovery made over there at Ocracoke Inlet? I wanna take a trip over there sometime. I live in Knoxville, TN, so the road trip can't be too bad I imagine. I'm a big pirate enthusiest, so all this history gets me really buzzing. Of course, Morgan was my favorite, but Mr. Teach happened tobe the most notorious bastard on the water.
is the ship still down there? if so, why don't they figure out how to pull the whole dang thing up, it's not like 100 miles down like the titanic is
