  • Do you cast a circle?

    x

  • Thank you so much for sharing. This is the best video to learn how to consecrate your tools. Blessed be!

  • @SexyNoJutsuGaara Thank you"

  • What would you do for the fire part if you're consecrating something flammable?

  • @Invisiblecheezburger Good point! I would do the same but hover it higher. So that only the heat touches the tool - you can hold you hand over and not get burnt, so long a you do it high enough, you can feel the warmth.

    x

  • Do you have to start at the east/with air?

  • @Invisiblecheezburger Some start in the North. But I start in East as it is where the Sun rises, so for beginnings. x

  • great video sweety i also like you solitary practitioner opening ritual. where did you get that athame?! its sweet. i need to do this with my tools

  • @mysticalcarter Thanks :) I got it from a website called everywitchway.

  • where did you get that athame?! its exquisite!! absolutely goregous!!

  • @BeautyFiendCosmetics I bought it on everywitchway. com :) Thank you!!

  • @BeautyFiendCosmetics oops I mean .co.uk

  • Thank you I will tell them! i was just asking for them and you know more then i do blessed be )O(

  • So explained simply! Thanxs!!! ^_^

  • Do we all need athames or just one of us? I know that the three of us will not be around all the time, and they wanted to know if they needed one to?

  • @envyisasin Really you should do what ever you feel comfortable with. You never need to buy anything for your practice; you don't NEED tools.

So honestly, whatever is best for you. Alexandrian covens have every one have an athame. But I don't.

    x

  • Thank you so much

  • when doing this do you need the the 4 guardians of the watchtowers ?

  • @envyisasin Not necessarily as you are calling to them in a sense, as you are adressing the elements. But I like to do this in a circle sometimes so the watchtowers will be called anyway.

    Blessings

  • @PetiteFramb0ise Thank you so much!

  • @mimosastar705 Thank you!!

  • Really nice video, I like how colourful it is and the music is great. Can I ask, what is you reason for consecrating things? Do you feel that if you don't consecrate the tool, then it is somehow unclean or bad luck?

  • @princessannikki Well I don't consecrate much at all. When I do it is because it is like charging them with my psychic trace? Like if I got a second hand tool it would have a trace of that previous person, so I want it to have mine and yes I guess 'clean', fresh and ready fro action ^^

But I don't do it often because the tools I have are mine frist or clean and charged by nature :)

  • @Pagyptsian I would suppose its like reinstalling an operating system from scratch?

  • Thank you for sharing this, and your altar cloth is stunning!!!!

    Love and Light!

    )O(

  • Oh and I have my set I got it from 13 moons.com but we are still going find the things we need to!

  • @envyisasin What's it like? :)

  • Thank you blessed be

  • Great Video! it is very helpful :-)

  • What a great video. Thank you so much for posting it. It's easier to actually see it then read it from a book. I am more of a visual person and seeing things tends to stay locked in my head forever. Thank you again. :-)

  • @LadyWolf0309 Me too! Glad it helped!!

  • I've used similar methods to consecrate things. Awesome video! Many blessings to you!!! :)

  • @isiswhispers Blessings!

  • Amazing video as always! :)

Question: I read somewhere that tools can be madefrom everyday objects, like a letter opener can be an athame. Is this true?

    <3

  • @AnnabellaChase Yes absolutely! :) Check out my video DIY Wicca if you want, I have some examples there. The more hand made/naturual the better really.

    x

  • @AnnabellaChase Ive used letter openers before as my athame. As long as its double edged and feels right for you, i cant see why not (besides theres some really decorative ones out there)

  • I LOVE your altar cloth!!! It's probably something you found in some awesome little shop "across the pond," right? ;-) Wish I had one like that. Loved the video...excellent info for people who aren't sure how to cleanse/consecrate their tools to make them their own. xoxoxo

  • @AutumnsMagic I went to canterbury and found it in a fair trade shop; it's actually a big decorative pillow case ^^ Thank you!

    x

  • Awesome video! Love it!

  • Nice consecration video. You have some nice tools! I have basically dedicated mine using just water, salt and incense to the God and Goddess rather than the specific elements. I sometimes don't even use all of the elements anymore, sometimes just and athame, a staff and incense and it is more of a religious interaction between myself and Horus and Hathor, on my one shrine, or Isis with god/goddess candles on the other especially for simple daily blessings.

  • @rsoxfan1123 Thank you!

  • Very nice Olivia... I've faved it and shared with my facebook also on the (everyone) setting so as to respect the public value it has for all to learn from :o)

    Blessed Be )o(

  • @lexxintegra Thank you so much!

  • Good video! I love seeing how everyone does things in their own way. Why do you start in the east? I'm not knocking it or anything I'm just curious. I start in the north. Does it just work better for you that way?

  • @TarotShy I used to always start at north, but I now start at east - because in my tameran path I recognise that the sun rises in the east and that is the beginning of creation, and so I start there :)

I heard north is often the start because it is the source of power?

    x

  • I was confused because I'd read a few different ways to do this, but its clearer now! x

  • @xSheIsMySinx There are many ways to do anything, but this is the way I learn to do it, and it is easy for my to remember :)

    x

  • @EarthaRose Thank you!

  • your athame is so beautiful! where did you get it?

    BB May )O(

  • @blackdeath14 everywitchway .co .uk I am not sure if it still up, but they have some lovely stuff :)

    x

  • simple and to the point. I like that! Blessings )O(

  • Awsome lovely

  • thank you very much, very helpful :)

  • Fantastic video, thanks so much! I consecrate mine in a similar way but when using salt for example, i sprinkle the tool with the salt in the shape of the banishing pentagram and so with the water etc xxxx great vid! xx

  • @Helenhealer Ahh that is a lovely idea! Might pinch that ;)

    x

  • @Pagyptsian xxxxxxxxxxx
