I spent my college years here in the mid-80's and while Calcutta has its charms it is stultifyingly boring and hyper-conservative as compared to either Bombay or Delhi. Fled Calcutta after college and apart from a brief vsist in the 90's I haven't ventured back and from what I can gather many of its more enterprising denizens have deserted it for the more upmarket charms of Delhi and Bombay.

This city has contributed the most in India's growth. This city is called City of Joy, City with best Culture and love. Lifeless is who does not have any experience or are extremist.
