Great tips! I can't tell you how many needless crises have been created in my touring theatre group by forgetting an adapter or cable. Now, I just keep a kit with these items in my car as a backup!

Don't know how you were speaking coherently. Whenever I play a gig, the few hours before, I can only mumble nonsense, because I get so nervous. Do you have tips for keeping nerves down? I need them :(

Do it a lot. It's the only tip I can give. I didn't sleep and couldn't eat before my first few gigs. But now I was literally eating on stage just before the show started. The more you do it, the more you get used to it!

I've found it can be helpful to bring more than one guitar, especially in case of string brekage. You can just switch off straight away.
