@simonwacko yes. We are to measure the standard of goodness by what God defines "good" as. He demands that we be "perfect" but no one is able to do this. People go to Hell becasue they have sinned against a Holy God and His love demands that justice be paid. It was paid through Christ on the cross a couple thousand years ago. What you must do is recieve the free of God through Christ. Repent of your sins and come to Him. Christ conquered the grave. He is your only hope.

What do you think about that Trich? I was feeling like I was missing something, so I started reading old school preachers, and the hihglighted that you must be born again. I really wanted to delve into that and find out what does that mean, really. I have been by faith and repentance, but I wanted to understand what that all means. so I took up a study and the HolySpirit showed me Paul's writitngs on the "Last Adam. I scrapbooked that verse. There is also another one in 1 Cor 15, I beleive. :)

People need to explain for Romans 5, I believe, where Paul says that Jesus is the Last Adam. If you understand the sin nature of Adam that brough that fallen state to all of us, then it makes more sense to have the Last Adam, a second and final Adam, who is god in human flesh, that came to live the perfect life ( the opposite of the rebellion of Adam) and died to pay the sins of anyone in the first Adam who wants to be born again. Adam lost connection to God, Jesus brings us back to relationship
