If you listen to slave to the grind you can hear a clear change between the sound of that album and revolutions per minute. If I had to say there was 1 song on revolutions per minute which sounded anywhere near slave to the grind, it would have to be strength even though that was a cover of some band called "The Alarm" (I've never heard of them).
Johnny Solinger ain't bad replacement based on his vocals, but his song writing is ughh bad and does not fit Skid Row. I seen Skid Row a few years back and 18 and Life was pretty good just that it sounded a little different becuase of Johnny Solinger it was still good
