  • @StrattonLOLfail yes! let's go in 2010!

  • Hi, How did you polish the Slide Release, Hammer, Trigger, and Ambi-Safeties? Before you did that was it kind of like a matte grey finish on the Slide Release, Hammer, Trigger, and Ambi-Safeties? If you could tell me it would be greatly appreciated.

  • I went down to Lowes and picked up a polishing wheel with a drill attachment. also got the polishing compound there(it comes in a stick form). Put the polishing wheel on the drill, then add a small dab of the compound to the polishing wheel and run it a high speed and you get the nice shine. The pictures dont do it justice you got to see it in person. And yes it was a matte finish before.

I did the same thing a while back to my pt1911, later I put buffing wheels on my high speed grinder and bought white compound, my parts are now a mirror finish.

  • @xXBallistic82Xx Cool, do you have pictures? I'll go check it out.

  • @FirepowerHendog

I'll post some on my channel and you can check them out.

  • Thank you for responding. Do you think that polishing wheel could work with a dremmel attachment? Also what was the polishing compound called? I just bought this gun today(technically my dad did, but it was with my money and a traded in gun). I don't really care for the matte finish on the Slide Release, Hammer, Trigger, and Ambi-Safetiesand and would like to get that shiny polished look. Thanks again.
