I like your use of space and sparseness in your opening solo. It sounds like your giving yourself creative space to let the solo unfold of it's own accord. Your use of the back of the stick for the baiyon is a testament to your understanding of creating in the moment. I like it when you discover something while playing and you begin to develop it right on the spot. This not knowing what you're going to play before hand is the creative energy that sparks and propels the music.
Marvin - That was a BAD solo you opened up with, I can see your creativity in motion - I like how you expanded on the 'back of the stick' thing you found-these drum solos always take me on a journey in my mind and it makes me feel energized. I like to watch it with the video and then listen just the audio - that thing you played on the cymbals at the end of the solo was awesome! You guys are swinging real hard, so hard you knocked the cymbals over! McCloud is booming and Esposito is killing it!
