Why are leftist lunatics like Michael Moore and Al Gore the only ones in this country that are allowed to make money? I find it amazing that no one wants to point out that it was Jim Doyle's socialist policies that drove Wisconsin into being the ninth worst state in the country for doing business. A strong private sector must exist to fund all these entitlement programs. Contrary to what the Marxist in Madison believe, there is not an endless pile of money for them to roll around in.

They live with an entitlement mentality - they believe they are entitled to a job, house, car, food, retirement, and they are entitled to tax the producers who contribute and give jobs. Concerning PUBLIC or GOV WORKERS - there should never ever be collective bargaining, that is for PRIVATE COMPANIES that produces GOODS and SERVICES - not workers in the public domain!!!

@htgajjar 1)Budget deficits are caused by gov SPENDING. You could tax everyone at %100 and it wouldn't help if the gov couldn't control itself.

2) Hong Kong doesn't tax income at all and it's one of the wealthiest economies in the world.

3)Even if that rate was flat the rich would still pay more in taxes. Since you bought up math(there is no "s" @ the end), You should try 10% of 40K & %10 of 100K

4) Everyone dodges taxes (even you)

You seem to be ignorant of the federal tax code. It's already progressive. But, the rich would pay more in any tax system including a flat one (I guess math isn't your specialty).

Saying the rich pay nothing in taxes is ignorant. They already provide 50% of the federal gov's income.

Maybe if you spent less time being a hater and more time being useful to society you'd make more money.

@htgajjar 1) Who is the "CCCA"? Which GOPs are evil?. Surely you aren't saying ALL businesses, all rich people and ALL GOPs are criminals corrupt and evil respectively? (Because that's patently false and would nullify most of your argument if you are claiming such)

2)Tax breaks are given mostly everyone when they are given.

3)TBs are given to corps when govs want them to do business here. When corps are harassed and undermined they just take there business elsewhere.

@lockdown260 I have lived and worked in Europe and Asia and I find it strange that in the U.S the Rich and Criminal Corrupt Corporate America do NOT PAY TAX because of Tax Breaks and Tax Loopholes always given by Evil Republicans. But than that TAX DIFFERANCE somebody has to pay !!!

If you get a TAX amount and you DON'T pay than your wife has to pay or you have to borrow money from friends or bank but you HAVE to pay that TAX . The Tax burden will shift to somebody if you do NOT PAY.

@htgajjar Also, historically speaking, no matter how high the tax rate was the gov was only able to pull in about 18% of the countries GDP. So raising taxes on anyone doesn't really help anything.
