@AIMANALI Most fighters were a little racist because of the eras and environments they grew up in. I followed boxing closely and found "many, not all" caucasian fighters had a jealous and poor view of coloured fighters in the 60s and 70s. Sadly, those were the ideals of that time. Wepner was no different and from what I saw of him during those years, feel he was a bit of a racist. To be honest, I give my opinion from a personal viewpoint and maybe I was harder on him than he deserved.
