If I had to do it over, I would have come up with an original, non-PNF-related name for this movement. I was simply trying to expose a PNF-like exercise to trainers and exercisers who haven't seen it before. Just because it's not straight from the book, doesn't make it completely worthless.
The slow motion only emphasizes her poor form as she has to throw her back into lifting the weight which means she's too loaded. get her in a slit squat and use her ADD and ABD to stabilize as she does a true D2 pattern across her body
Be careful when personal trainers are talking d1 and d2 flexion/extension! Especially in this video! PNF movements should be functional and cross the midline of the body (which neither are present in this video)
as a physio, i would definatly not allow my patients to conduct an exercise like this. not only would i reiteratie shep's comments, but its not actually PNF, and the arm is bent or straight, not changing between the two. it is iresposible to have this video up as it is misleading and could cause injury.
In 28 years in the fitness industry, I've never seen nor heard of anyone who had shoulder external rotators that were too strong relative to their internal rotators.

Dont overdo this one without some pushups or bench to compensate, could lead to neck pain
