How deep was this scar? I have a corneal scar that is 200 microns deep right in the middle over my pupil.

Im getting mine done on thurs.my,left eye first. Cause I have a couple scars on both eyes , luckily not in the middle. Thanks for posting this! How long did it take you to recover through one eye? Till they did the other one or did yu do both the same day?

@reyes91490 both eyes got prk'd the same day. it probably took me a month to recover and a couple of months more to have 20/20 vision, i think it was 5-6 months in total.

I'm confused. I thought that in PRK they burned the outer layer of skin off. Here it looks like they cut it and tore it off.

@Official2010Swag ahh this is the old school type of PRK where they still "scrape" the epithelial cells off, you might be referring to the newer kind where its all laser prk.

@Skylerdlc not really, good thing the scar isnt dead center on my eye, but it does lower just a little bit the clarity of my vision, but not really noticeable.

Thanks for sharing!! I am happy for your success. I'm a corneal transplant recipient and I will be getting Wavefront PRK in the next few months. I hear night vision can be tough for a while too. Great video!

no scarring by the wavefront prk, vision is 20/20 after 6 months, overall vision is 100% better!

after 3 months, i'm 20/20 both eyes open. basically prk laser made the scar "smoother" it wont remove the scar per se. good thing the scar is not in the middle of my eye : ]
