Brazil is NOT a Hispanic country and the accent there is very different. Just listen to Toninho and you will see the difference in the accent (he's a true Brazilian man, a Brazilian soap actor actually).

I like the movie overall but let me say one thing. If you're going to make a movie about a Brazilian woman, make her speak with a Brazilian accent, for God's sake! Actors study the British, Scottish, Irish and other accents when they shoot a movie. Why is it that every time they play a Brazilian person the actors are hispanic or have a freaking Hispanic accent?

dude, i feel your pain, but don't think Irish people fair any better. I'm Irish, and they often get americas, brits or scottish people to play irish characters. I always almost puke or split my sides laughing at how wrong they consistently get it, it's like they're TRYING to mess up. They always mix up the different Irish accents and end up sounding like they're from 4 different parts of the country in one sentence!!! The people who train them are frauds! Tommy Lee Jones was particularly bad
