It FINALLY put to rest the question that they both wanted an answer to (and most of us) right from the very first episode at the wedding. That what happened at that wedding wasn't just a one off fling but infact, it was a realisation from both of them that they really loved each other, they were just reluctant to act on it because of other people. I'm so glad Serena addressed it.
