@whatitisnative You must not be very in-touch with spirituality. I am Half Blackfoot half Cherokee. We are all human, and all of humanity has the ability and natural right to come in touch with the spirit realms, and heal their spirits as-well. Perhaps you should seek out some elders for guidance. Even if white people can't as you think, to make fun is not very humble. Plus, this is European Shamanism. Nothing like a Medicine Man.

@whatitisnative chanting is not supposed to be some high-level singing, where there is importance to keep your voice. Chanting is in lowest possible form just your own body doing rhytmic sounds. Chanting is what body gives, throat is just a tool that makes those sounds available to our ears to listen.
My only complain is that chanters could next time use natural rattle, like for example some smaller seeds inside coconut, at the moment rattle gives too much noise. It should be milder...
