i am a hippie!!! but i am a gun man and a hunter and on the guns side... police are good .. but they cant get there before something already happens...
With or without Chuck Negron, they still sound awesome. And if they really need a third singer that bad, that bass player hits that high note like a boss
Uhhh....I see Three Dog Night on the the ticket I've just bought. I ...excuse me for being and A**hole here....expect to hear Chick Negron singing this or you can refund my ticket price OR just bill yourselves as Wells and Hutton,Two Dog Noght or whatever you like.
Just don't sound like TDN with out Chuck and the line "you know I love the ladies" just looses something without Chuck singing it. What a shame grown men can't bury the hatchet get to gether and sing ...Life is too short to carry grudges...
Watch interviews with TDN.......Mr. Wells sure loves to hear himself talk. He refused to give Chuck an equal share of money with a comeback. I don't blame Chuck for walking away. That was a slap in the face. (We all know it was Chuck that was the star in that band!) He's doing just fine on his own and his work with substance abuse is making a difference in people's lives.
Yeah...Chuck did...It's a shame they couldn't resolve their differences...They don't sound the same without all three together.....They will all regret it someday...life is too short to hold grudges.....
@scallly64 It wasn't just a drug problem.....3 out of 6 shows Chuck couldn't return after the intermission....he was too high to return and couldn't carry his notes. This created HUGE problems for the band, not to mention the legal issues of not fulfilling contracts etc.... there were years of ISSUES not just a few mishaps or disagreements.....only they know the entire story and so far they're not talkin' alot about it.
I'm not sure anyone thinks they sound "good." All I hear is two people screaming through in a key that's clearly too high for them. They would sound better in a lower key.
Boy that Danny sure does have a big mouth when he sings the word JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow im impressed that his voice still very powerful, trust me the human voice gets weaker with the years. im only 36 (wich means im just a little boy) but i noticed my voice changed a lot from when i was 16...thats life i guess. Cool song
Wife and I saw Three Dog Night at the Erie County Fair in the early 80s ,,, We could not believe we sat in the front row ... for $5 ... and there was not a crowd ... They sounded every bit as good in person as their recordings. They were great.
I have heard the remaining members of TDN sing other songs, and they still sounded pretty good, but they need to give up on Chuck's songs, because this sucks donkey d-ck.
There are some amazingly funny comments on some of these videos. Chuck never needed these guys? You may notice he doesn't bill himself as Chuck Negron Formerly of The Rondells.
The biggest belly laugh comes from the videos posted as Three Dog Night (without Chuck Negron). It's like someone thinks people will see that and think - Oh I won't watch that video. Funny stuff.
in 1820 a man named fred oslof one day he was working wen a ghost came by and killed him in his lab 100 years later 2 boys went in as a dare they were also never seen again possibly murdered now that u read this the boys and fred will kill u 2nite unless u send this post 5 time b4 midnite i really dont like posting these but i dont wanna die :'(
I can do better. the only freak here is you. Chuck Negron has been sober for so long and his solo career has produced some fantastic tunes. chuck negron never needed these guys. and bulaway, lets hear about your past and something that you did ages ago. Chuck was on drugs along time ago, why dont u just move on??
I grew up on Three Dog Night (and a ton of other great 70s bands).....wow, how the (once) mighty have fallen. Cory and Danny suck..plain and simple. Read Chuck's book (Three Dog Nightmare). Chuck was no angel and the other two have a right to be hurt and upset and whatever...but damn. I hate to say it, but they suck BIGTIME without the best voice of the three.
It's not the Bay City Rollers lead singer. It is Danny Hutton one of the original 3 Dog night memebers along with Cory Wells. He does however resemble Les McKeewen.
Fabulous! Joy To The World, for me, was the first one I learned upon moving to Tennessee in the early 70's -- a big transition-time for me -- and, it had a profound influence on my appreciation of music! Love it! THANK YOU for sharing your performance with this video.
heck they should call this 2 dog night the lead on vocals for this is supposed to be chuck negron and because of his demons theyre just 2 dog night the 70's videos is a better reference w/ all 3 men
The crowd cracks me up....little different from what watched them in the 60's and 70's! Can't get over how great these two sound after 40 years....unbelievable.
Love these guys!!!

@RCV50 i think it's mostly Cory who will not let it go from the little i know of the riff between them.
i'm pretty sure Chuck would come back in the fold, but its Cory stopping the reunion, he looks like he can be a jerk or a hard-ass..
