@fastfood8472 We're not in any of those countries. This is about American capitalism. It's not a free system here, it's muddled with corruption, manipulation and subversion in the name of making extra money. Capitalism is great, when the system is free of government control, however that is not the case in the US

You are totally correct the George Bush is sitting back Rich off all the hard work of Americans and we want to sit here now and point the finger and many Americans don't even know the history of how we got to this point. Americans watch too much TV and don't read enough. The Bush Administration raised the debt ceiling 8 times! 8 freaking times! Weeks Before he left office he signed a multi billion dollar bailout deal! He got paid! We need to boot all the idiots who call themselves Americans a

You all are idiots if you think one president can cause an entire collapse that has been trending for almost 10 years. The problem was having both Bushes in office who empowered the collapse of our financial sectors and wars that he and his office/administration personally profited from. You Americans are so blind to see the truth. There was no was in one term Obama could fix this problem. @shaithis80 Obama didn't do anything except put a semi-stop gap in the descent by throwing tons of money at failing banks. In case you're like 14 or whatever, this is all fallout from crash that occurred in 2007-8 and is the result of 40 years of libertarian/Objectivist policies under Alan Greenspan.
@forevermedical Lol, you're a funny guy. I love how you say "How can one president do this!?" and then say "It was the Bushes!!" The president is only one person, and he doesn't even have all that much power, except to appoint other people. This is largely the result of 40 years of libertarian policies under Alan Greenspan, who refused to regulate the derivatives market and kept faith in this myth that the market regulates itself. That and a legislature bought out by big business/wall street.
@Kallero well perhaps the market would regulate itself by allowing businesses to fail. How many bailouts have we had? By artificially extending the life of businesses, it does create an unfair competitive advantage.
@dyhanendra Are you really that stupid? Yes, Obama caused an economic crash in 2008 that has been building for decades. Yes, a black man steps into office and the economy literally collapses PURELY AS A RESULT OF THAT. The collapse has nothing to do with Obama or his policies. You're an ignorant buffoon. Go educate yourself. tinyurl[dot]com/7lafbby
@Kallero Lemme see ----- FACTS DUMB ASS. A debt that went from half a billion in 2008 to 15 TRILLION IN 2011 MIGHT HAVE SOMETHEING TO DO WITH IT MORON!
@Kallero because Obama chose to keep on spending money we didn't have and has made some very poor decisions as President. Obama has no business serving the country if he things he can dictate/mandate the people will carry health insurance or be fined. He never approached how to get real medical costs down where one can pay a reasonable and customary amount in cash for services rendered. And people like me have no real assets to lose at this point that is unless we can make 50000/yr.
See "Obama Presidency by the Numbers " and you'll see why. Oh yes, EPA to Shut Down a Staggering 28 Gigawatts of Energy Production. This will mean Third World-style rolling blackouts and skyrocketing energy prices. Forcing up energy prices correspondingly forces down our standard of living by driving up the price of literally everything, and by throwing people out of work as the economy is made to contract.
There was this monster called Americus Chinus Capitulus...He was always hungry for more because he thought he had the right to remain more happy than others and demand happiness by any means..but little did the monster know happiness comes from within for he had no idea who he was...so he started devouring the world around it and when he ate everything he started eating his own leg.The End.
Personally I think the combination of the minimum wage law (which is designed to make sure people have trouble finding their first job while being sold to "help the poor") and the unprecedented extension of unemployment benefits are two major factors making this recession as bad as it is. Both need to be ended.
Latoya, thank you so much for this. Please keep us up to date.
HHHMMM just looking at the new Current map make's you wonder if there is alot of manipulation going on Job growth is up but after looking at your map make's me doubt it
Jimmy Rogers says the average age of a farmer is 56 at the moment and we dont' have enough new ones to meet demand. Combine the Agriculture and Oil shale in ND and I think the boring square state to the north will be a great place to be if you want a job and growth in the next couple of decades. The new tourism slogan: ND - You can get a job and you won't starve here.
We're not counted in that. Don't qualify for unemployment. Life has been nothing but being underemployed and unemployed since 2008, when my husband's job was sent overseas. Thanks a lot America! Now let's do what our ancestors did and move to a better country for opportunity.
@Raverouso I didn't mean to start a new nation. There are countries doing better than the US. The US doesn't even have anywhere near the best healthcare on the planet. I meant move my family to a better place.
This is great stuff. I would like to see the scale expanded with three more intervals... in the present situation "10% or more" doesn't provide much differentiation!
And when the U. S. dollar loses great value, the center of the country (where I think a lot of the food is produced) will turn purple/black because people won't be able to buy as much food as they currently do.
Take note the lighter states have Republican Governors.
