This makes me want to re cloth our old table it's been around for 30years with original cloth I figure it's about time to re cloth I'm tired of the torn holes if the cloth messing up my shots

Excuse my ignorance but does the felt have a grain which needs to be aligned from the breaking end to the racking end or is it pretty universal and brushing and ironing the felt sort that out?
