@sharie5 i think shes great but personally just think this particular video of her dancing lacks the fire and personality usually captured in saidi dance. sure shes brilliant technically, and has a beautiful smile.. but there's just something missing. something you see with fifi abdo and orit, that you just dont see with saida.

No... I only uploadad a part of the show. The vid in which Ansuya, Jillina, Issam, Dondi, Sharon and Petit Jamilla are performing a drum solo, and then I uploaded a saidi performed by Ansuya with cane. Those vids were erased for copyrights claimed by BDSS Inc.

I think that's the worst of hers. She's a better dancer, but I don't like her dancing saidi. I think she's kinda soft and that softness makes that saidi lose the egyptian spirit. The saidi has more energy.

This is the saidi rythm of bellydance. It is a folklore dance.

this is saidi, the said is upper egypt which is actually southern egypt lol

in upper egypt the men do a dance with a stick called the tahtib and they say this is the girls imitating the guys dance the guys stick dance is aggressive, the girls are dainty as they mock the men

in arabic you add "i" to make an adjective so the dance is saidi

and in arabic dancing with a stick is called rakset al assaya

la mejor del mundo, es una diosa, no puede ser tan perfecta, tiene todo su espíritu en la danza, entrega todo cuando baila, es la mejor, sin duda. Es raro que para un DVD haya hecho una coreografía de bastón, siendo que cuando baila una canción típica lo hace hermosisimo, pero es una Diosa y hace todo bien, y me encanto esta presentación. Bueno, esa versión que vos encontraste seguro es la que está en el Vol 6. Como ya te dije, esa versión es original del año '99, pero Mario Kirlis y Saida son MUY AMIGOS, entonces le hizo una versión modernizada, especialmente para que ella la utilice en las presentaciones de las giras de las BDSS (entre ellas, la que estás viendo en este video). Luego hizo un compilado de canciones e incluyó esta canción en el disco "Mario Kirlis junto a Saida".
