Imagine the scenario... If you want to use outside and you don't have wireless connection... I can create an ad hoc connection with your iPhone or iPad, but you can't config, because you don't have ethernet connection in your iDevice... So there are something to do with that, or you forget the wireless and connect the device via jack cable?
