  • Larry: The video was too brief for me to be comfortable taking that task on. I would need more details before I'd feel comfortable working on my trigger.

  • @Oprahd im pretty sure these are just parts of a much longer video series that they post hear for advertisment if you call midway USA im sure they have a full video on it.

  • this guys teeth must be made of ivory

  • Would be nice to have some closeups of what was being filed.

    Great film.

  • If you try this you will almost definitely ruin something once or twice before you get it right. Just pay the money to have a smith do it.

  • Nutnfancy has a great video out about trigger work on the Smith and Wesson with Terry G at Impact guns, it shows everything in great detail !

  • A little stoning will make ANYTHING smoother... Sorry, I had to!

  • @robs104 took the words out of my mouth!

  • He failed to mention a crucial factor- Changing any of the angles by accidentally over-stoning can cause big ass issues with your action.

  • Why doesn't Smith & Wesson do that at the factory?

  • @mesa401 because its not really as easy as he says it is it depends on every gun.

  • larry was that a model 19?

  • Impressively vague video. It's rare, these days, to see a how-to video on YouTube that is this rushed and the camera angles so poor that it really doesn't do anything for the novice other than briefly describing the steps that need to be researched in way more detail. Sorry Larry, but I've seen, and used, much better how-to vids for gun-smithing.

  • and thats the way it is ;D

  • Use the stone sparingly or you'll be buying parts from Larry. Get the manual by kuhnhausen

  • i have a titan tiger from f.i.e. the smoothest trigger and even with a 2 inch barrel no problem hitting any thing at 50 yards

  • but does smoothing the surfaces make for a LIGHTER trigger pull at all?

  • sure ... less friction = less force needed

  • "and thats the way it is". larry potterfield.

    your my hero lol

  • I want to be a gunsmith :-)

  • I bet its very rewarding work to improve firearms all day. Just think of all the interesting guns you would get to handle all the time!

  • @Cab0cl0 Try AGI.
