Coming from an Asian, I actually find Lo Wang much more funnier than Duke. He is actually more of a satirical look at the Asian stereotype thus don't find him offensive. Also there are alot of tribute to Asian action movies.
Where can I find this free expansion.. and for that matter the game itself? Torrents seem to be dead links, and last copy I did have was poorly ripped/encoded as it didn't even run in my DOSBox... any advice would be appreciated...

@chinchek I agree, they made some grieve mistakes at the game but I think I m gonna buy it sometime anyway ^^ But as for Lo Wang, yeah, I think they should completely recreate the game with new weapons, engine, and all that is needed for a great game. But I have no idea wheather the should leave the humor as it was, or switch to the newer kind. The Story should stay as it is,
i would love it i the game kept its EXACT gameplay but modern graphics/sounds. they took duke nukem and made it into a rail shooter like COD cause, COD is modern gaming. but its not my style, IMO duke nukem (if shadow warrior) should not be touched except enhanced. Imagine playing Duke 3D original maps with 2011 graphics and sound, wouldnt you enjoy it more than a game on rails?

@Templarofsteel18 Just a guess, haven't looked into it for this game specifically, but you can try DOSbox. It's a pretty easy to use program (look up a tutorial for it though), right now I use it to play Duke Nukem and Daggerfall. You'll probably have to play it windowed though, because of how low resolutions were back then.
I feel all the older because i dont think this game is that old...Oregon Trail is old, Duke Nukem is old ( Duke Nukem. Just bought it at 3dRealms' webstore for 7€, it even has the redbook audio tracks integrated (just like if you owned the disc back in the days) and built in Dosbox so it runs perfectly under Vista etc... friggin awesome.

This game was awesome, it was filled with so many technical details that was overlooked by the unaware blatant player. The maps took twice as long to finish just because you had to play with everything that was secretely planted for you :-) Most things didn't even make sense, they were just fun. Like that rabbit garden were you released rabbits of different sex, and after a while they started humping and soon there were bunnies running around everywhere :P Some things were mazes with prizes.

If you love this game (as I do), you should check out the two add-ons that were released for free by 3D Realms: Twin Dragon and Wanton Destruction. TD has excellent level design that spans all sorts of locations and is probably my fav of the two.
I remember that they had to remove the shurikens for the British version because some kid had murdered someone using these in that country, which is complete political bulls***. I mean, there are tens of thousands if not millions deaths by knife and guns in that countries history, and yet they are permitted. Crazy politicians.
Weapons themselves were pretty well done, some had alt fire. I liked how the shotgun was, it looked like a cannon with four barrels, and alt fire was useful when you had to fight off something real quick and prevent it from closing in! I also loved the rocket launcher...grenade launcher, and uzis were awesome!
Enemies were cool to fight, but coolies frightened me...and those baboon monsters were creepy too.
Like the PC game, Blood, that uses a very similar version of the Build engine, some of the objects in the game use voxels which makes them appear 3D. There should be a setting in the game's menu to enable the 3D look of the objects.
It is not a high resolution pack like the ones available for Duke Nukem 3D. I hope this helps you out.
This is one of the few FPS'es I enjoyed playing trough. The newer ones are kinda boring IMO. The only new FPS'es I liked were Bioshock, Serious Sam and Doom 3
If you liked Doom 3, I suggest "Prey" based on the same engine. It's awesome! I agree with you on a lot of newer games. Most of them lack in personality.

This game was funny for so many reasons. It scored pretty well with me, although I may say it ties up with blood.
It was silly how this game just mixed up Chinese and Japanese culture though!

I remember that they had to remove the shurikens for the British version because some kid had murdered someone using these in that country, which is complete political bulls***. I mean, there are tens of thousands if not millions deaths by knife and guns in that countries history, and yet they are permitted. Crazy politicians.

I fucking miss this game...
Weapons themselves were pretty well done, some had alt fire. I liked how the shotgun was, it looked like a cannon with four barrels, and alt fire was useful when you had to fight off something real quick and prevent it from closing in! I also loved the rocket launcher...grenade launcher, and uzis were awesome!
Enemies were cool to fight, but coolies frightened me...and those baboon monsters were creepy too.
Good stuff :P

Hey, some objects are 3D like keys, in the version i have, it's not, is that some high res pack like in duke?

i remember it playing when it was "popular", and there was an option to make some objects 3d somewhere in the options menu

Like the PC game, Blood, that uses a very similar version of the Build engine, some of the objects in the game use voxels which makes them appear 3D. There should be a setting in the game's menu to enable the 3D look of the objects.
It is not a high resolution pack like the ones available for Duke Nukem 3D. I hope this helps you out.

This is one of the few FPS'es I enjoyed playing trough. The newer ones are kinda boring IMO. The only new FPS'es I liked were Bioshock, Serious Sam and Doom 3

If you liked Doom 3, I suggest "Prey" based on the same engine. It's awesome! I agree with you on a lot of newer games. Most of them lack in personality.

Glad you liked it. I am thinking of replaying it now. I hope you can get the full version, I got it off Ebay new and sealed for $7.00. There are several copies on there still. It's a little old but that makes it cheap and that makes it all the better.
