I remeber when he was composing this song, as a piano player at Shenk's Paramount Hotel. I was about 9 or 10 years old. At amature night I did my imitation of Harry Belafonte's Banana Boat song and he was my piano backup. My parents were unaware that I was supposed to perform. Thanks to Neil, I won.
