I've seen this man play a concert and i got to talk to him afterwards. His performance was great and when i asked him how much he practiced as a youngster he said "....... a lot!" he told me between 4 and 6 hours each day.

Well it is indeed. I actually listened to Punta y Tacon first and when I first heard this Farruca that I don't know the exact name I thought it was similar to Punta Y Tacon. Punta y Tacon sounds nicer imo btw :)
