The only problem with this skimmer is that you have to replace the airstone monthly or its performance goes down. I went with the aquaticlife protein mini skimmer and never looked back. It has a needle wheel with it which mean no more air stones. You should look into getting one of those. Feel free to check out my channel sometime. This is my first tank and to be honest I would build my own tank next time. I ended up takeing every thing out that made it a All In One. The only thing that I have the is still biocube is the lights (whitch i am getting rid of and replacing with led's) and the pump witch many people say that it goes bad and will be replace shortly.
So my advice would be just make your own rather then buying a nano cube, bio cube or any thing like these.

Smart mod, been thinking about getting a biocube myself as opposed to building a tank from scratch. Any advice?
