  • I'm a new subscriber and so glad I found you!!!

  • @mrsfun29 I'm glad you found me too! ^_^

  • thats the cutest dog ever ! Whats the breed ?

  • @terracotta4 Aw, thank you! She is a cutie. She's a Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix.

  • hey can you please do a video setup tutorial and what editing program you use? Pleaassseeeee

  • @3gpearls I use Final Cut Pro.

  • @lipSH0CK Thanks so much I couldn't decide which editor to buy but I'm leaning towards this one THANKS ALOT..you really helped me.

  • @3gpearls It's amazing. =)

  • i think estee lauder is one of the best foundations for oily skin types. Texture, application, how long it lasts, and coverage are awesome, but it is expensive...

  • @designlover88 I really like it too! =)

  • I love mac foundation for lighter skinned people and darker skinned people...I feel for tone's in the middle, (nc 30-nc 45) look a bit to orange.

  • @ThatBoyWilly Hm, really? I think the deeper shades tend to run more orange.

  • @lipSH0CK They do, but the orange base that's used for them, I feel matches better for dark skin tones. Medium skin tones look very oompa loompa.

Unless it's mixed well with an nw.

I do love mac faoundation, regardless.

And even for my medium skin, I still use it(I just cut it with l'oreal true match to sheer down on the orangeness)

  • @ThatBoyWilly I think we're going to have agree to disagree here. =) As someone with a deeper complexion (I'd say past NC45 and darker), I find the shades offered by M.A.C. tend to run either too red or too orange. They've recently changed some of the formulations on some of their foundations and that's just what I've noticed.

  • @lipSH0CK And as for the l'oreal true match, I don't like it as a foundation on it's own, but the shade range makes them ideal for mixing with other foundations to get a true to you foundation

  • @ThatBoyWilly You know, I've never tried that foundation. A friend of mine used to use it back in college and she always looked grey.. using the darkest shade available and she isn't that dark. =(

  • How do you get the MAC pro longwear concealer from creasing?

  • @duckbutt07 I don't have that problem.

  • @duckbutt07 You set it well.

  • @ThatBoyWilly I use a light, finely-milled powder to set. What are you using?

  • @lipSH0CK It depends on my mood.

I bounce back and forth between Make-up froever hd, Coty powder, the E.L.F hd powder, MAC's Hd powder, or MAC M.S.F

  • @ThatBoyWilly Maybe try first patting it on with a sponge and then sweeping away the excess. =) That's what I do and I don't get any creasing whatsoever.

  • How do you mix the MAC prolongwear and the MUFE Mat+... Mat+ is like a squeeze tube and prolonger wear comes with a pump so Im curious as to how much of each product you use/mix together

  • @MissLelee 1 full pump of the Pro Longwear; 1/2 a pea-sized of the Mat Velvet+.

  • really good video and your dog is so cute! what breed is he?

  • @kisskittycat791 Jem is a girl and she's a Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix. =)

  • i just wanted to ask a question about the colorstay foundations, everyone thinks its one of the best drugstore foundations. i went to buy one a while ago and it wasnt my shade so i returned it and ddnt purchase it again, how did you pick out your shades because i think my color is extremely difficult to match

  • @Jasmilld To my knowledge, that's the only way to go about finding your drugstore foundation match. You just have to buy it, test it out and go from there. If it doesn't work, return it and try again. That's what I do.

  • Ay girl, I have combination/oily skin too, especially on my t zone. How do take care of yours?

  • @AwellAllogo I don't do anything special besides cleanse, moisturize, and the occasional deep cleansing mask and exfoliator.

  • ur soo beautiful it's unbelievable lol

  • @DaniiEbony Aw, shucks. Stoooop! I'm not anything special. =) Thank you for saying so though. You're so sweet!

  • Hey, I'm about an nc42-43 and I have a VERY yellow undertone. Most foundations aren't cool enough for me. Nars is the best I've come across but the colour i use (tahoe) is too dark. Any recommendations?

  • @02vanilla Mary Kay to me has some of the yellowest foundations around. LOL. Have you tried any of their face products? Also, Bobbi Brown has a lot of foundations with yellow undertones.

  • what song is that? I love it

  • @1creativegal Check the comment below yours.

  • Whats the song playing in the beginning called?

  • @ashjanay1989 Do Ya Like.

  • since i know you like heavy foundations like me i would like to know if you would do a review on smashbox's studio skin foundation? i'd love to see it! xoxo

  • @JocelynCopyrighted I think you misunderstood me. I'm not a fan at all of heavy foundations -- I prefer fuller coverage foundations that are lightweight and not at all heavy on the skin. =) That being said, I've never used the Smashbox foundation.

  • @lipSH0CK omg my apologies i meant fuller sorry! i'd love to see a review if possible?

  • @JocelynCopyrighted I don't have that foundation, beb. If I ever decide to try it, I'll let you know. =)

  • I am a new subscriber and am having trouble finding the right foundation. I have been afraid to invest in higher end foundations in fear that it may be a waste. This is by far the best foundation video I have seen to date. Thank you for taking the time to explain each foundation so well. I will be trying at least one of these very soon! Thanks you so much! This video was very informative and very helpful.

  • @Candeeccentric Don't think of investing in higher end foundations as a waste. All cosmetic brands have an excellent return/refund policy, so if something doesn't work out for you, you can always return it or exchange for another shade. Not to mention, they are always really good about giving out free samples to try before you commit to buying the full size.

  • @lipSH0CK Wow. I didn't know about the return policies or free samples. I'm a newbie to makeup but I am learning new things everyday! Thanks for the info!

  • @Candeeccentric All you have to do is ask. =) Good luck and take advantage of it!

  • Thanks, I'll check that out. By the way you're one of best on youtube, but definitely my favorite. I am aiming to get where you are.

  • @MsMajige That is incredibly nice of you to say. =) Thank you!

  • Hi, I know this is a lot to ask, but in Mac I wear a nc45 in summer and nc 44 (studio tech) in winter. What would be my color in the ones you listed. If you can answer this question. Thanks!

  • @MsMajige I really don't know foundation equivalencies. Have you tried Googling? I know Temptalia has a chart of Foundation Equivalencies.

  • can you do a video with the mat velvet!!!! please thanks

  • @Loverofhair26 I've done one already. I use it in the foundation routine video.

  • Thanks much for sharing! I've used the MAC Studio Fix for a while but I keep hearing about MUFE HD so I'm def heading out this weekend to find my shade. TU :D <3 your vids btw.

  • @Diggitydimples Thank you for watching! =) I've never used the MUFE HD, so let me know that works out for you.

  • Loved the video. Thanks for the information but I wanted to knw more about the forum bv it would be nice to communicate with diff. Makeup artist or people to learn different things

  • @BURT35210 It is a private FB group for industry professionals. You have to be admitted by one of the Admins.

  • My skin twin! I'm so glad I found someone with my same issues! *Subbing*

  • @mrsdemo80 Aw, thank you for subscribing! Good luck with the eyebrow and foundation journey. =)

  • Thank you!! I tried the Mat Velvet Plus in #70 but it's a tad bit red/dark. So I am now going to try the MUFE HD #173 and mix it with #177 and that should do the trick. Thanks for your help and keep up the GREAT work. I have learnt so much from you. :-)

  • @archigill Yay! That's great you found something that works for you. =)

  • Great video! Quick question, I love MUFE HD but the 173 is a tad light and the 177 is a tad dark...do you suggest that I mix the two and see what happens or, do I wear the 173 and put a darker powder on it?

  • @archigill I've never tried the MUFE HD, so I'm not really sure how to advise you on this one. I would choose whichever you prefer. Just balance out whatever is wrong with a correcting powder.

  • @lipSH0CK Thank you! I've used the MAT Velvet in #70 and it's a little red for me, so I may try it in #65 and see what that looks like as I was using the MAC Dark Mineralizer with it.

  • lol I like medium to full coverage as well! Thanks for your video

  • @bigbodyl2005 It's not for everyone but I love it. =)

  • @lipSH0CK yea, girl me too for a few blemishes on my cheek and my sinus line on my nose :(

  • We have the same skin type. Omgsh. I'm subbing now.

  • @lifeshortsostandtall Thank you! =)

  • Im beige 400 and 404 in the Mary Kay medium coverage foundation. It's soo great

  • @kiminthekitchen Yep, it's a great inexpensive foundation.

  • I love the make up in this video! could you list the products?

    Thank!

  • @sunshineslilangel1 There is a tutorial for this look already.

  • I like this song who sings it?

  • @CamilleEboni1 Childish Gambino

  • @lipSH0CK thank you

  • Nevermind, I read the previous comments LOL. you've never tried it =(

  • @shaelson Sorry I can't help you out with that one.

  • I love song, Childish :')

  • @LadyBeex3 =)

  • Just wondering if you have tried the MUFE HD Foundation. I am NC 50 as well and I have heard great things about the foundation but the foundation looked to be too red and I didn't want to buy it and waste money.

  • @djpinky19 I've never tried the HD foundation as I find that, based on the reviews I've seen and read, it doesn't look that great in person. =(

  • @lipSH0CK oh ok thanks! Ill give Mat Velvet a try. I'm trying to give different foundations a chance.

  • @djpinky19 But you should give it a try. You may like it. =)

  • @lipSH0CK Hi there! I have the same skin texture as you, and I think that the HD foundation is really nice! Unfortunately Im not sure about the redness experience as I am NC30, but definitely take a sample of it from a local Sephora and try it out! I was also giving the Mat Velvet a try and see the comparisons of the two. Great video as always! :)

  • @ladykaedeXXI Thank you for your feedback! =) I do think the shades tend to run a little red when you get into the much deeper, richer hues. But I'm glad you like it. I'm still hesitant to try it myself.

  • I wanna try those estee lauder foundations! I work at sears, so I get 20% off!

  • @Chany14 They sell EL at Sears now? That's great.

  • I feel the same way when it comes to drug store foundations I can never find my right shade and the one that is my right shade cappuccino has way to much red in it. I've tried many drug store foundations and have yet to find my right shade I think I' going to stick to higher end foundations

  • @Serrenity20 Even then, with the HE foundations, finding one's shade isn't a guarantee. =( Aw, the business of foundation matching.. quite the hassle!

  • o okay

  • why do you wear two different foundations from estee lauder?

  • @CamilleEboni1 As previously mentioned in the video, I stated I can use either shade depending on the season. I use Spice in the Winter/Spring/Fall and Truffle in the Summer when I am darker.

  • @lipSH0CK thanks i just wanted to kno which was the best foundation

  • @CamilleEboni1 Wait, they aren't two different foundations. It's the same foundation: DoubleWear in two different shades.

  • @lipSH0CK oh sorry

  • @CamilleEboni1 No apology needed. Just wanted to make sure you were clear on that.

  • LOL! I laughed at the part where you mentioned the oompa luumpa... I have have struggled with finding the perfection foundation for me. Since I have medium to oily skin, I use Revlon Color Stay that fits me well, but I feel that there is not enough color...I have tried MAC Mineralize Foundation and it seemed oily, but I will try other MAC foudations...thanks for this video...Your techniques have really helped me alot.Cheers!

  • @Frostie1208 M.A.C. foundations are truly hit or miss. Some work so well and others fall flat. I'd say I've had great success with most EXCEPT for the Mineralize Liquid (way too dewy for my skin and broke me out). Try and find a product that is suitable for your skin type -- since you mentioned you were oily, try the Studio Fix Fluid or the new Matchmaster foundation. Then again, you don't have to use M.A.C. either. Bobbi Brown and NARS both have great foundations that work for oiler skin.

  • @lipSHOCK thank u for this video ! Also whts the song in ur video

  • @shortystopy Childish Gambino -- Do Ya Like and Got This Money

  • Girl, No! I didn't know that! Ok, so I'll be hitting up my Sephora this week! Lol

  • I really want to use the MUFE Mat Velvet + but its over my budget. I may save up or get it during tax time. I use the Revlon Colorstay in caramel and its a bit light, just a tad but usually I will mix it with Maybelline Mineral Power bronzer gel in the summer and by itself in the winter since I lighten up some. The MUA @ MAC suggested SFF NW43 for me last March. I've used it twice for my whole face and only use it now under my eyes and that's every now and then. Not happy.

  • @MysticDiamond Have you gotten a sample of the Mat Velvet+? Sephora is generally really good about giving out generous samples. You should ask!

  • i just brought the studio fix fluid based on your video and i love it!!! i have nc50 and its just a little dark for my winter color so i mix it with nc45 select cover up concealer and it flawless!!!! =)

  • @TheMakeupMusic I'm glad you were able to find something that works for you. =) I love SFF.

  • i love my revlon colorstay my shade is golden carmel love it

  • @evelyn11942 =)

  • If you don't mind me asking ...what kind of hair is this in your head? Where did you get it from? And how did you get it that color?! It's beautiful :-)

  • @tiffanydaneen It is virgin Chinese hair and I bleached it.

  • @lipSH0CK ..it's great to find someone who is my skin tone... I've been wanting that hair color for forever! What specific colors did you use?

  • @latida802 In the comment right above yours, I wrote that I bleached the hair. I didn't use any colours as this colour was achieved with only bleach.

  • I kno you have one foundation video. But I would love to see how you mix those 2 products. i have both of those products mufe matte velvet and Mac concealer. Do you just pour into your hand and mix it?

  • @brnprettiegrl88 No, I dispense them onto a sterilized petri dish and mix them on there.

  • haha turned into a oompa loompah made laugh, youre gorgeous

  • @glamourtracy I speaketh the trutheth. =) lol Thanks, beb!

  • U have never heard anyone comment on the scent of the RCS! I smell it too, It has this alcohol smell, like liquor... its just weird. I have a sensitive nose too but luckily its not the kind of smell that will give me a migraine

was your puppy's eye infected or swollen or is that how it is?

  • @DaniaOMGWania I think it smells like turpentine. LOL.

  • @omgloveLights Childish Gambino -- Got This Money

  • How does Mary Kay full coverage foundation compare to Mac studio fix fluid?

  • @jesssicaaangel The list could be long but to make it short: MK Full Coverage has a different texture and consistency to the MAC SFF. It is thicker, a tiny bit heavier, and their shades tend to border on very yellow.

  • whos singin that song with adele n the beginning???????

  • @jojolivingstone2 Two comments below has the song information...

  • @lipSH0CK thanks:)

  • Your foundation looks flawless. Dunno if they have that 'makeup forever' brand in the uk though :(

  • @onyxsta Really? You should check your department stores! MUFE is a great cosmetic brand!

  • Is that an Adele song that is playing in the background, if so whats it called?

  • @1karley Childish Gambino -- Do Ya Like

  • u r so pretty

  • @graciemelody And you are very kind. =)

  • . . .i keep seeing blue

  • Omg did u line ur bttm waterline or its the lighting playing wit me, cuz it looks wicked

  • @aznzensation No, there's blue on my waterline. =)

  • i dont understand im supposedly a NW45 in the summer & a NC 50 in the winter...but i look at other women & they wear the same color foundation when theyre clearly darker than me. & through out the day the foundation gets darker which makes me at least 3-4 times darker than my normal complexion -_- IDK what to do

  • @oOrayliaOo It could be one of two things: the original foundation shade is not your colour and should be changed OR you simply cannot use that foundation because it oxidizes on you (which is what the whole color getting darker thing is called).

  • where did you buy your wall sticker?

  • @LMagluvR Target.

  • Does your makeup ever oxidize(Get darker through out the day because of the oil from your skin)? If so,do you use any products or have any tips to stop this from happening? :)

  • @YummyLix I used to have that problem with certain foundations but I do not use foundations that oxidize on my skin anymore. There really isn't you can do about the oxidization process -- some foundations will continue to do that no matter what preparation you do. You can try using a mattifying primer, shine-control, oil-control product.

  • This was a great video and know it was done awhile ago, but have you tried the MAC Matchmaster Foundation? Would love your thoughts on it. How do you find it compares to Fix Fluid which is one of my favs. Also have you tried Bobbi Brown or Becca which have great ranges for brown women. On another note, do you have a vid on the hair. I love the color!!!!!

  • @BrownFaceTV I don't have the Matchmaster foundation and I'm unsure as to whether or not I'll purchase since I'm kind of over M.A.C. and their foundations.

  • @lipSH0CK so i went to macy's today to buy the estee lauder foundation..however i couldnt remember your shade..since i am a dead on NC 50 girl. however..i couldnt remember which shades you were.."truffle and spice"..however the MUA..gave me "rich chestnut. i tried it on and i think it looks ok..but it can be the lighting at the store". PLEASE when choosing ur shade..did u try RICH chestnut? i live an hour from the macys. does the 5c1 and 6n1 means something about the shades..i dunno

  • @pwhint I can alternate between Truffle and Spice. =)

  • I love IMAN Foundation, its a store brand. the only thing about is that it breaks me out and I love the color an how it feels on me. so I decided that I will use Dermablend this fall. Love it. I just cannot wear it in the summer. Anywho Girl! you did a great video. Take care

  • @mzladylocks I've looked into Dermablend but I haven't taken the plunge yet. =)

  • Love the video. Thanks for sharing. Curious about MUFE Mat Velvet in #75. Do you know the undertone for #75? Was it too warm for you? It seemed to look lighter than the Prolongwear concealer in NC50.

  • @annieup7 That's not the shade #75. It's #70.

  • You have the most beautiful skin I have ever seen. The color, the glow (both face and body). Do you use a body lotion with shimmer in it?

  • @KristanEdwards Wow, that is so nice of you to say. I used a highlighting powder on my face but not on my body. I think my lights are just extra reflective. =p

  • Your eyeshadow is Pretty.

  • @gwensanders37 Thank you, Gwen. =)

  • Love your videos. Can u give us tips on finding the right shade for your skin when it comes to buying foundation? Thanx

  • @MILOLE924 There are tons of blogs devoted to foundation matching and the process. I'd really suggest Googling and seeing what you come up with. There are so many tips and tricks out there to list.

  • @ lipshock do u put more foudation than concealer when mixing mac prolongwear concealer and the makeup forever matte velvet or vice versa

  • @EbonyEyes00 No, I put more concealer as it is closer to my skin tone.

  • @lipshock try out Nars sheer matte....its called sheer yes but it has a full coverage....try it out u will love it! I have oil skin

  • @EbonyEyes00 Yeah, my friends rave about that foundation.

  • Hey have u tried Iman's luxury radiance foundation???

  • @MadameBeautiful No, I haven't but will probably try it in the future some time.

  • This was a very helpful video! I use studio fix fluid & love it as well but I might just pick up that makeupforever matte! ;) Btw, YOU ARE GORGEOUS! & Love your videos! Your make up is perfection! Also, if you have the time check out my channel. :)

  • @MakeupByGraceNicole GRACE NICOLE! I almost fainted seeing your comment. Beb, I have been following you since your 'FilipinaDoll' days. I absolutely LOVE and ADMIRE your work. I am a fan of your FB page too and am always looking through your pictures of your amazing work. ^__^

I really appreciate you taking out the time to comment on this video!

  • @lipSH0CK Aww you made my frickin day! LOL

  • @MakeupByGraceNicole Girl, please. You've made mine. I'm already subscribed to you on my other channel but let me go ahead and double subscribe, beb. =)

  • You should try Revlon Colorstay with Softflex. It doesn't dry quickly when you apply it.

  • @StaceyLovee Mine has that.

  • I really love the finish of the MUFE Mat Velvet+ but like you the 70 is too light on me & the 75 is wayy to red. I was thinking of trying the Pro Longwear Concealer & Mat Velvet together but what ratio do you use when mixing the two?? TY!

  • @DanceLovesMAC A medium pea-size of the Mat Velvet+ and 2 pumps of the Pro Longwear.

  • What Is The Name Of The Song Playing In The Background? It Sounds Catchy Lol

  • @Recy18 That information is on the first page of comments.

  • @lipSH0CK Ok Thank You

  • Drugstore foundations aren't good for me either. I love Studio Fix Fluid! (NC50!)
