This maybe different from common interpretation: Jesus is a spirit of Gods intervention , The messenger of truth. there are other similar entities. He altererd the matrix created by the Anunaki (humans to be slaves). It could be that the Anunaki were subdued or wiped out by the Federation. There is order in this Universe. "THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN". This is happening now if you examine UFO disclosures. He even mentioned He have armies in heaven .Andromeda or Plaedian unfolds.
@reflect7 Jesus is God's provision for us. “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” Genesis 22:8
That's a video subject you might think about. Abraham knew that if he killed Isaac that God would raise Isaac from the dead! Even if he burned him to ashes! That is the faith Abraham had! God promised that Isaac would become a great nation. Isaac was a miraculous birth and therefore Abraham knew God would raise Isaac from the dead. An amazing prophecy.
He didn't declare that he was God. He didn't ever say he was anything but the son of man or the son of god because of the human expectations of who the messiah is. If he had said that he was something then wouldn't be able to be "i am". He had to let us decide who he was. He didn't say anything about himself that anyone else couldn't say about themselves. He lets us decide who he is because that is the only objective way to see if the world will recognize him. He becomes real in their hearing.
Jesus is controversial only in a majority Christian country and causes division amongst christians themselves because the biblical stories half attribute him to saying he is seperate to and subordinate to Yahweh while three or four verses *seem* to be him claiming that he is.
Also, discussing Jesus to many is the same as calling Jesus into question. Many feel internally that their faith in christianity will not stand up to scrutiny and try to curb it.
Is declaring yourself "God" really that amazing? Also, lets take a step back from that claim "Jesus Christ" made. What about the claims of Jesus' existence which you clearly take for granted. Why is it hardly anything is mentioned about this so-called prophet of "God" inspite of the fact that this was a very well documented time? Wouldn't we expect historians to say more than a line about a man whom miracles were occuring all around?
Let Christ claim he is God before Tiberius Nero and his 30 legions, his auxilairies, his picked praetorians guards, the city Cohorts and the marines at Misenum and the Campanian coast.
Because the followers of Jesus have caused more religious conflict and bloodshed than any other religion. When I go through a local park I have to avoid certain christians who hunt in pairs to save people's souls, the christian is a rather annoying creature.

jesus' name doesn't cause me any agitation, usually when people mention jesus they are trying to convert others. it has nothing to do with him claiming to be god we just dont want you trying to convert us
Jesus was a guy who may or may not have existed, during his time there were many people who claimed to be a god. I think it's silly to believe in any higher power or deity in general, if Jesus existed he was a good guy with slightly advanced morals for his time. That's all.
If Jesus were a liar then don't you think when the persecution and death threats started he would have ran for it (this is what Muhammad did), but he didn't, in fact, he walked straight to his death to complete his purpose.
If Jesus were a crazy person then would he have been able to speak the way he did, everyone around him wondered how in the world a carpenter was as intelligent as he was.
That only leaves one with the option that he was telling the truth...
jesus was not a carpenter, he was of the bloodline of david. joseph had a famous and socialite family. the most backed up translations show joseph as a schollar or learned man of some sort.
Jesus Christ is Truth...satan hates the truth and he is the one who controls those who are not born of the Holy Spirit...very simple:) The demons that are on the lost HATE the name Jesus..they tremble at the name Jesus! Be blessed..Great video!
Yep,lots of crazies here.A nation founded on the basis of freedom of worship, based on the principles of Christianity. Our bible belt is not "so called" itsa fact,a great place to live and prosper.Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He's real, are you? Jesus is mighty to save,He's the Son of God,my savior, and closest friend. Why don't you consider if you have a soul?and what's gonna happen to it after you die, someday the only thing that'll matter is your relationship to Jesus Christ.Love HIM!
Jesus cuts to the sole because as an atheist (or any opposing religion), I don't want our constitution changed to match the bible as Huckabee wanted it. I find it threatening to my freedom. Jesus declared his claim of supernatural on a basis which cannot be proved at this moment?
I wish you could prove it and make me believe it, but I absolutely refuse to simply accept him as my savior to the great gig in the sky. I will keep looking, but my mind will only be as open as it rationally can be.
god and jesus are two diffrent people god created everything jesus makes thing new the savoir 2 keep us from going to hell god created jesus the son of god
Yes and no matter what religion someone says they are in there is the actions thing again. If someone claims to love God yet hates his brother then he is a liar. No matter what religion someone claims it's the Love factor. God is Love so if a religion claims to be of God yet they kill and murder they are not doing God any favors. God would not send people to sin in his name. My point is in the end God will know who is his. He knows already. :)
You need to read John 1:1. Also look at some of the prophecies of the Messiah. Isaiah 9:6 for example. A child called God? Amazing. Also Jesus even went as far as to say if you believe in me you not only believe in me but you believe in the one who sent me.
Jesus was a real man with the fullness of the Spirit of God in Him. The man in Him did have to pray to the God in Him and also seated in Heaven. God can be in more than one place. He lives in us believers. Yet we pray to God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Can't you see, God is supernatural, these things are hard for some to understand, when you listen to the Word of God, faith will come by hearing that Word. That's why they call us believers, we believe what God's Word says.Love.
Luke 112 He said to them, "When you pray, say: " 'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.3 Give us each day our daily bread. 4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not
JUST THINK IF JESUS WAS GOD, WHY WASN'T THE SON AND HOLY GHOST INCLUDE IN THIS PRAYER? BECAUSE JESUS NOR THE HOLY GHOST WERE GOD
Jesus didn't actually pray this prayer. You see in verse 4. Jesus didn't need his sins forgiven. Only Got is perfect and Jesus is perfect. Remember John 10:30 I and the Father are one
Actually he is God. 4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was born, I AM!" In response, the Jews take up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Why would the Jews want to stone Jesus if He hadn't said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God? In Jewish context, the "I AM" (YHWH) was the definitive claim to being God.
"I and the Father are one." At first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, look at the Jews' reaction to His statement, "We are not stoning you for any of these, replied the Jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God" (John 10:30-33).
You seem like a nice guy. (which, of course, I say because there's an impending "but").
But I side with seabrain, that this video shows some ignorance on the part of it's creator.
I don't recall Jesus ever explicitly claiming his divinity. Furthermore, I don't recall the Gospels of the Bible ever quoting Jesus as explicitly claiming his divinity; all supposed claims sound like riddles.
Even so, the 4 Gospels present different agendas, and do not indubitably reflect anything real or historic.
We are nice guys, the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 include goodness, gentleness, long-suffering, love, joy, peace, faith, good things to have in this present evil world. Indubitably the gospels are REAL AND HISTORIC. The agenda was to tell the truth about what each gospel writer saw and proclaimed to be the truth and nothing but the truth as he saw and experienced being with Jesus Himself or being with His disciples in ministering the Truth of the Gospel throughout the world.Love.
I think this video shows some anthropological ignorance on the part of the narrator. Whether or not the mention of "Jesus" in a conversation (say, at a coffee shop) makes people feel uncomfortable depends on the culture you're in. In most of America, yes, I would agree. But in other cultures where Christianity isn't the dominant religion bringing up the subject of Jesus might be equivalent to someone bringing up Krishna or another Hindu god at a Starbucks somewhere in America.
Jesus was a liar. He said he was without sin, and that he was God. One of those is false, because God has killed, and last I checked that was a big sin.
And it's not like he did it once. And it's often because of what he calls "jealousy". And yet HE is innocent, while a newborn baby isn't? I fail to get it.
thats like asking the question, can god make a rock so big that he cant move.
God is God,His actions are just. Humans don't understand why God would carry out such a judgement because God's ways are not ours.
God also flooded the earth killing many more.
God will also rain fire from heavens killing millions more durring the final pages of history. Not one human is w/ out sin, baby or Full grown, Those wages of sin is death.
We are not to understand God, Only the simple fact He is Just God.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. He ( Jesus )was in the beginning with God.
If you dont understand that buy now, you obviously haven't studied enough. He died for US. ALL of us. But you won't be saved unless you accept it. He didn't sacrifice himself TO himself. Atheists have some funny idea's...
He didn't really die, did he? I mean, he came back, and now he's in Heaven. How is that a sacrifice? If that's the price _I_ had to pay for saving all of humanity, I'd say yes in a heartbeat.
I think I'd even do it if there was no resurrection afterwards. Does that make me a better man than Jesus?
Because Jesus is God and a Holy, Righteous God, without the sacrifice and all that Jesus bore on the Cross that day at Calvary, mankind would not be forgiven of sin. He took every sin upon Himself that day to demonstrate His love for us! Forgiveness is only for those who repent and accept His Gift of Salvation. The question is our YOUR sins forgiven? God Bless
I cannot real proofs that God exists but therefore am called it also BELIEVE but i want 2 tell this 2 the people who dont believe. 1. The bible says that there are people who hate God our forgot Him 2. But so many people who dont believe in God are using his name when they are angry. THATS WHY HE DOES EXIST!!! Besides men, that think believe in the big bang theory, that there was ever totally nothing, you must understand that there from nothing also totally nothing made can be.
John 1:1 says that "the Word was God." John 1:14 says that "the Word became flesh." This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, "...Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood." Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. Acts 20:28 declares that God purchased the church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!
John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was born, I am!" Again, in response, the Jews take up stones in an attempt to stone Jesus (John 8:59). Why would the Jews want to stone Jesus if He hadn't said something they believed to be blasphemous, namely, a claim to be God?
The Jews understood Jesus' statement to be a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus never corrects the Jews by saying, "I did not claim to be God." That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God by declaring, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).
Take for example Jesus' words in John 10:30, "I and the Father are one." At first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. However, look at the Jews' reaction to His statement, "We are not stoning you for any of these, replied the Jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God" (John 10:33).
In addition to the article linked above, here are some thoughts... You're right, Jesus is never recorded in the Bible as saying the exact words, "I am God." That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God.
Jesus is our King and Savior.
